Bon tricot!

The directions for Waffle Love (Drops 159-26), say to cast on 49 stitches. With 3 knitted stitches in each end, that leaves 43 stitches for the pattern. If the repeat is 4 stitches, 43 stitches isn't divisible by 4. Should the pattern say to cast on 50 stitches? Using 6 for the edges, leaving 44 for the stitch repeats? Thanks.....

Dear Linda, you have to cast on 49 stitches and then work as follows: 3 edge sts in garter st, A.1 over 1 st, repeat A.2 until 3 sts remains and 3 edge sts in garter st (3 edge sts + 1 st in A.1, 14 repeats of A.2 (3 sts), 3 edge sts. Happy knitting!

Hej!
