Basket stitch

This is a fun textured basic pattern, making both sides of the piece just as pretty, perfect for scarfs.
You need a multiple of 6 sts + 3.
Row 1: *K3, P3*, repeat *-*.
Row 2: *P3, K3*, repeat *-*.
Row 3: *P3, K3*, repeat *-*.
Row 4: *K3, P3*, repeat *-*.
Repeat row 1-4.

In this DROPS video we show how to work a rib with knit 1, purl 1 on circular needle. Working a rib gives an elastic piece that is great for cuffs and edges.
