How to sew a flounce edge to a garment with a lace pattern

In this DROPS video we show how to sew a flounce edge to a garment. Work from the wrong side, fasten the thread in a decrease in the lace pattern and then sew a stitch between the 2 outermost double crochets on the flounce. Thread the strand back to the wrong side, * sew running stitch / straight stitch along the bottom edge of the lace pattern (do not sew in the flounce) as far as the next decrease in the lace pattern, take the needle around this decrease and then between the 6th and 7th double crochets after the last time the flounce was fastened to the piece, thread the strand back to the wrong side *, repeat from *-*. It is important the seam is not tight as this will make the garment less elastic. We use the yarn DROPS Snow in the video.
