How to cast off with knit above knit and purl above purl (knit 2 and purl 2) – Nordic knitting
BEFORE STARTING THE VIDEO:
We have already worked a few cms of rib, knit 2 and purl 2, and cast off a few stitches with rib.
To cast off with rib – or cast off with knit above knit and purl above purl – means that, before casting off, the stitch is worked in the same way as on the round/row below.
THE VIDEO SHOWS:
The knitted stitches are knitted and the purled stitches are purled, at the same time as casting off by passing the next-to-last stitch worked over the last stitch worked (on the right needle).
