How to work false English rib and purl stitches back and forth on needle
Work like so:
1st row:
Knit 1, * purl 1, make 1 yarn over, slip the next stitch on to the right needle as if to purl *, repeat from *-* until 2 stitches remain, purl 1, knit 1
2nd row:
Knit 1, * knit 1, purl yarn over and the slipped stitch together *, repeat from *-* until 2 stitches remain, knit 2.
Repeat 1st and 2nd row.
For this video we have used DROPS Snow.

Hei Jenny Man kan strikke patent forskjellig, hvilken oppskrift følger du? Du skal uansett følge den oppskriften du strikker. Bonjour Sylviane, effectivement, les côtes anglaises sont plus gourmandes en laine que du simple jersey et leur tension en largeur et en hauteur est différente. Il vous faudra calculer la nouvelle quantité nécessaire en fonction de votre échantillon/le modèle souhaité etc.. vous pouvez vous baser sur un modèle en côtes anglaises analogue - votre magasin saura vous aider également si besoin, même par mail ou téléphone. Bonjour Jasmine, tout dépend de votre modèle et du type de diminutions que vous souhaitez, vous pouvez simplement tricoter 2 mailles ensemble à l'endroit de chaque côté par exemple, ou bien vous pouvez jouer avec 2 m ens à l'end/ 1 surjet simple pour prolonger la maille endroit. Bon tricot!
