When working stripes adjust according to one whole repetition of A.2 before switching colour, it is important so that the colour changes are on the same side. Measure along the side where you decrease in diagram. Work stripes as follows:
STRIPE 1: 50 cm purple
STRIPE 2: 4 cm heather
STRIPE 3: 6 cm grey
STRIPE 4: 32 cm heather
STRIPE 5: 4 cm purple
STRIPE 6: 22 cm grey

Work piece back and forth on circular needle. Cast on 3 stitches on circular needle size 9 mm with purple. Then work according to diagram A.1 and STRIPES - see explanation above. When diagram A.1 has been worked 1 time vertically, work diagram A.2, there are now 11 stitches on row.
Now work diagram A.2 vertically the rest of the piece but as 2 stitches are increased for every repetition there are now more stitches between yarn overs at beginning of rows and decrease at the end of rows.
Work A.2 like this until last stripe has been worked.

To avoid a tight edge cast off while knitting as follows: * Cast off 2 stitches, make 1 yarn over and cast off yarn over as regular stitch *, repeat from *-* the rest of row. Cut the yarn and fasten.

= knit from right side
= knit from wrong side
= between 2 stitches make 1 yarn over, knit yarn over on next row to make a hole
= knit 2 together

Ulla Th. 17.02.2019 - 13:17:

DROPS Design 21.02.2019 kl. 08:30:

Hei Ulla.

Bon tricot!
