DROPS HOOK SIZE 6 mm - or size needed to get 12 tr x 7 rows = 10 x 10 cm, or 1 repetition of A.1 = width 8 cm.

Pattern instructions

NOTE: This pattern is written in British English. All measurements in charts are in cm. For conversion from cm to inches - click here. CROCHET INFO:
Replace first dc at beg of every dc round with 1 ch. Finish every round with 1 sl st in ch from beg of round.
Replace first tr at beg of every tr round with 3 ch. Finish round with 1 sl st in 3rd ch at beg of round.

PATTERN:
See diagrams A.1-A.2.

CROCHET 2 TR TOG (in tr):
Work 1 tr in next tr but wait with last pull through, work 1 tr more in same tr, but on last pull through, pull through all sts on hook.

WORK 2 TR TOG (AROUND CH):
Work 1 tr around the middle ch in tr-group but wait with last pull through, work 1 tr more in same ch, but on last pull through, pull through all sts on hook.

TR-GROUP:
Work a tr-group around ch-space as follows: Work * 1 tr, 1 ch *, repeat from *-* 2 more times around same ch-space, 1 tr around same ch-space.

DECREASE TIP (hat):
Work 2 tr into 1 tr: Work 1 tr but wait with last pull through (= 2 sts on hook), then work next tr but on last pull through, pull yarn through all sts on hook.
Work 2 dc into 1 dc: Work 1 dc but wait with last pull through (= 2 sts on hook), then work next dc but on last pull through, pull yarn through all sts on hook.

HAT:
Work in the round, bottom up.
Work 71 ch on hook size 5.5 mm with Air and form a ring with 1 sl st. Work next round as follows: Work 3 ch - READ CROCHET INFO, then work 1 tr in 4th ch from hook (= 2 tr), skip 1 ch, 1 tr in each of the next 8 ch, * skip 1 ch, work 1 tr in each of the next 9 ch *, repeat from *-* 5 more times = 64 tr. Work 4 rounds with 1 tr in each tr. On next round work pattern as follows:
ROUND 1: Work 3 ch (= A.1). Then work A.2 as follows: * Work 2 TR TOG (in tr) - see explanation above, 5 ch, skip 2 tr, 1 dc in next tr, 3 ch, skip 2 tr, 1 dc in next tr, 5 ch, skip 2 tr *, repeat from *-* 6 more times. Finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch on round (= A.1).
ROUND 2: Work 1 ch, * work 1 dc in the 2 tr worked tog, 3 ch, skip 1 ch-space, work 1 TR-GROUP - see explanation above, around next ch-space, 3 ch, skip 1 ch-space *, repeat from *-* 6 more times. Finish with 1 sl st in 1st ch on round.
ROUND 3: Work 1 ch, * 2 ch, 1 dc around next ch-space, 5 ch, work 2 TR TOG (around ch) - see explanation above, 5 ch, 1 dc around next ch-space after tr-group, 1 ch *, repeat from *-* 6 more times. Finish with 1 sl st in 1st ch on round.
ROUND 4: Work 3 ch, work (1 ch, 1 tr, 1 ch, 1 tr) around first ch-space, 3 ch, skip 1 ch-space, 1 dc in the 2 tr worked tog, 3 ch, skip 1 ch-space, * (1 tr, 1 ch, 1 tr, 1 ch, 1 tr, 1 ch, 1 tr) around next ch-space, 3 ch, skip 1 ch-space, 1 dc in the 2 tr worked tog, 3 ch, skip 1 ch-space *, repeat from *-* 5 more times, (1 tr, 1 ch, 1 tr) around last ch-space. Finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch on round.
ROUND 5: Work 3 ch, * work 2 TR TOG (around ch), 5 ch, work 1 dc around ch-space after tr-group, 3 ch, 1 dc around next ch-space, 5 ch *, repeat from *-* 6 more times. Finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch on round. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION!
ROUND 6: Work as 2nd round.
ROUND 7: Work as 3rd round.
ROUND 8: Work as 4th round.
ROUND 9: Work 1 tr in each of the first 2 tr, * work 2 tr around first ch-space, 1 tr in next dc, 2 tr around next ch-space, work 1 tr in each of the 4 tr in tr-group below *, repeat from *-* 5 more times, work 2 tr around next ch-space, 1 tr in next dc, 2 tr around next ch-space, work 1 tr in each of the 2 tr in tr-group below = 64 tr.
Now continue with 1 tr in every tr. AT THE SAME TIME when piece measures 15 cm, insert 7 markers in the piece, 9 tr apart. NOTE: There are 9 tr + 3 ch after last marker. On next round dec after every marker - SEE DECREASE TIP = 57 tr. Work 1 round without dec. Repeat dec every round 4 times = 29 tr. Then work 3 rounds with dc AT THE SAME TIME continue dec on every round = 8 dc remain. Cut the yarn, baste it up and down through sts, pull yarn to tighten and fasten tightly. The hat measures approx. 25 cm vertically.

NECK WARMER:
Work 83-93 ch on hook size 6 mm with Air and form a ring with 1 sl st. Work as follows: Work 3 ch - READ CROCHET INFO, 1 tr in 4th ch from hook (= 2 tr), 1 tr in each of the next 1-3 ch, * skip 1 ch, 1 tr in each of the next 7 ch *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 73-82 tr. Finish round with 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round. Work 1 round with 1 tr in every tr. Then work PATTERN - see explanation above, as follows:
ROUND 1: Work 3 ch (= A.1). Then work A.2 as follows: * Work 2 TR TOG (in tr) - see explanation above, 5 ch, skip 2 tr, 1 dc in next tr, 3 ch, skip 2 tr, 1 dc in next tr, 5 ch, skip 2 tr *, repeat from *-* 7-8 more times. Finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch on round (= A.1).
ROUND 2: Work 1 ch, * work 1 dc in the 2 tr worked tog, 3 ch, skip 1 ch-space, work 1 TR-GROUP - see explanation above, around next ch-space, 3 ch, skip 1 ch-space *, repeat from *-* 7-8 more times. Finish with 1 sl st in 1st ch on round.

ROUND 5: Work 3 ch, * work 2 TR TOG (around ch), 5 ch, work 1 dc around ch-space after tr-group, 3 ch, 1 dc around next ch-space, 5 ch *, repeat from *-* 7-8 more times. Finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch on round. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION!
When entire diagram A.1 and A.2 have been done vertically, repeat 2nd-5th round (= A.X) 3-4 more times vertically but last time finish after 4th round. The neck warmer measures approx. 22-27 cm vertically. Fasten off.

Buongiorno, ho notato che i giri di m alte sono diversi tra foto,spiegazioni e video.Potreste dirmi dopo quanti giri di m alte si comincia con il grafico?Riferito al cappello . Grazie

Buongiorno Benedetta. Lavora il primo giro e così ottiene 64 m.a. Poi lavora 4 giri con 1 m.a in ogni m.a. Dopo questi 4 giri inizia il diagramma dalla riga 1. Buon lavoro!

Ik haakte dit patroon met de Air met prachtig resultaat. Ik zou dit graag nog eens maken maar iets groter. ik zet 213+3 lossen op en bekom 178 stk. Klopt het dat ik een veelvoud van 9 stk moet bijvoegen? 6 l vormen 5 stk. Begrijp ik dan goed dat ik 213+3+10 l moet opzetten?
