RE: response to my question on the Christmas cornet pattern - the lesson for reading the diagram was no help at all. I already tried that before i asked for help.

I just sent a question but I used the wrong pattern name. I think i'm making the Christmas Cornet Ornament, not the cone. I was asking for written instructions for rounds 17 - 20 as I can't understand the diagram.

Dear Muriel, unfrtunatey we cannot give you the written out pattern to either piece, but we urge you too try and learn how to make sense of diagrams, as they not only tell you what to do at the very next step, but show you how stitches and rows relate to each other. There is a lesson on how to read the diagrams lhere and you can always ask for help in the store where you bought your DROPS yarn from. Happy Crafting!

Why couldn't you have just written out the instructions for the Cone Christmas Ornament instead of the confusing diagram? I can't figure out what to do after round 16 (rounds 17-20). I'm stuck!

Dear Muriel, unfortunately we do not have the pattern written out. It is well worth the effort to try and learn how to make sense of diagrams, as they not only tell you what to do at the very next step, but show you how stitches and rows relate to each other. Hello, I need som help with this pattern. I cannot understand cone pattern from round 9. I don't know which part of M1 diagram is M1a, and which one is M1b. Can someone help me with the explanation? tanks, Yvonne
28.11.2013 - 21:18DROPS Design answered:
Dear Yvonne, M.1A shows the first pattern that will be then repeated in M.1B, so how to start each round and join at the end of round. Work all sts as stated in diagram following diag text. Happy crocheting!
