DROPS circular needle size 6 mm (60 cm) – or size needed to get 15 sts x 21 rows in stocking st with 2 threads Kid Silk = 10 x 10 cm.

Pattern instructions

NOTE: This pattern is written in British English. All measurements in charts are in cm. For conversion from cm to inches - click here. Decreasing tip-1: Dec by P tog the last 2 sts in each P-section.
Decreasing tip-2: Dec by P tog the first 2 sts in each P-section.
Decreasing tip-3:
Dec as follows after Marking Thread (MT): Slip 1 st as if to K, K1, psso.
Dec as follows before MT: K2 tog.
Increasing tip: Inc 1 st by making 1 YO. Work YO into back of loop on return row to avoid a hole.

Neck warmer: Worked in the round on circular needle. Loosely cast on 210 sts on circular needle size 5.5 mm with 2 threads Kid Silk. K 1 round and continue in rib, K2/P4 until piece measures 4 cm. On next round dec 1 st in each P-section - see Decreasing tip-1 = 175 sts. Continue in rib, K2/P3, until piece measures 8 cm. On next round dec 1 st in each P-section - see Decreasing tip-2 = 140 sts. Continue in rib, K2/P2, until piece measures 12 cm and now change to needle size 6 mm. K next round, at the same time dec 26 sts evenly (K tog approx every 4th and 5th st) = 114 sts. Insert 2 Marking Threads (MT) in piece, 1 at the beg of round and 1 after 57 sts. Continue in stocking st. Remember the knitting tension! When piece measures 18 cm dec 1 st on both sides of each MT - see Decreasing tip-3 = 110 sts. Repeat the dec when piece measures 24, 30 and 36 cm = 98 sts. When piece measures 42 cm inc 22 sts evenly –see Increasing tip = 120 sts. Change to needle size 5.5 mm and continue in rib, K2/P2 until piece measures approx 48 cm. Cast off loosely in Rib.

I made this and found the neck part super baggy. I would decrease to 60 stitches I think. Mine just doesn't sit nice like the picture.

In der Deutschen Übersetzung ist ein Fehler drin: Laut Anleitung sollen bereits für das Bündchen 6er Nadeln verwendet werden und nicht wie bei der Materialangabe geschrieben 5,5er Nadeln, was ja beim Bündchen logischer wäre. LG

Diese Teil stricke ich gerade. Allerdings kann ich wegen einer Allergie Kid Silk nicht verwenden. Nehme eben andere Wolle. trotzdem chic!!1
