Garter st in the round: K 1 round, P 1 round.
Increasing tip: Inc from RS. Inc after 3 K sts by picking up loop between 2 sts from previous row and P this into back of loop on return row. Make the next inc before 3 K sts, so that the inc are placed to the right and the left alternately of P-sections.

Neck warmer: Worked in the round on circular needle, from top down. Loosely cast on 80 sts on circular needle size 4 mm with 2 threads Alpaca. Work 2 rows garter st – see above (border is crochet round these 2 rows later). K 1 round and continue in rib, K3/P2. Remember the knitting tension! When piece measures 10 cm inc all P2 to P3 – see Increasing tip = 96 sts. Work 2 rounds rib, K3/P3. On next round inc all P3 to P4 = 112 sts and continue in rib, K3/P4. Inc in the same way on every 4th round 4 times and then on every 6th round 2 times = 208 sts (K3/P10). Work 2 rounds garter st (border is crochet round these 2 rows later). Continue in stocking st on all sts for 2 cm and now work 2 rows garter st (border is crochet round these 2 rows later). K 1 round and cast off loosely.
Crochet flounce borders: Crochet a border at the top round the neck (i.e.round the 2 rows garter st at beg of piece) with crochet hook size 4.5 mm and 2 threads Kid Silk as follows:
Round 1: 1 dc round the 2 rows garter st, * 2 ch, skip 1 st, 1 dc in next st *, repeat from *-* and finish with 2 ch and 1 sl st in dc from beg of round.
Round 2: 3 ch, 2 tr in first dc, now work 3 tr in each ch-loop and 3 tr in each dc all the way round, finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round. Cut the thread and fasten.
Fold border double and crochet another border (round 1 + 2) round the same 2 rows garter st = 2 flounce borders round neck. Note! On round 1 work all dc betwwen the dc from the first border. Cut the thread and fasten.
Now crochet a similar border (round 1 + 2) round the 2 rows garter st after the rib towards bottom edge. Cut the thread and fasten. Finally work a similar border round the last 2 rows garter st (after the 2 cm stocking st). Cut the thread and fasten.
