DROPS jumper with rose and anchor pattern in “Paris”. Ladies or Men’s size S – L.

750-800 (850-900) g, colour no 28, navy blue
100-100 (150-150) g colour no 30, blue
100-100 (100-100) g colour no 17, off-white
50-100 (50-50) g colour no 12, red
50-50 (50-50) g colour no 32, light purple
50-50 g colour no 6, pink
50-50 g colour no 42, green
50-50 g no 35, yellow

DROPS circular and double pointed needles size 3.5 and 5 mm - or size needed to obtain 17 sts x 23 rows in stocking st = 10 x 10 cm.

Pattern instructions

NOTE: This pattern is written in British English. All measurements in charts are in cm. For conversion from cm to inches - click here. There are different terms for crocheting in British and American English. If this pattern includes crochet, click for "crochet terms" here. For this pattern in American English, please click here.
Pattern: See diagram M.1 to M.3. The diagram shows the pattern from the RS.
Pattern, sleeve:
Men’s: Work M.3 until piece measures 51-51 cm (make sure to place a pattern repeat mid upper sleeve). Now work M.4 and then complete piece in navy blue.
Ladies: After 2 cm stocking st work M.4, M.5 and then complete piece in navy blue.
Rib: *K1, P1*, repeat from *-*.

Front and back piece: Worked in the round on circular needle. Numbers in ( ) refer to Men’s sizes. Cast on 156-160 (164-168) sts on needle size 3.5 mm with navy blue and work 5-5 (6-6) cm Rib. Change to needle size 5 mm and continue in stocking st, at the same time inc 36-44 (40-48) sts evenly on first round = 192-204 (204-216) sts. When piece measures 11-11 (12-12) cm work M.1 and then continue in navy blue. Remember the knitting tension!
For ladies sizes:
After 5 cm navy blue, divide the piece in two and complete front and back pieces separately. Cast on 1 st each side of both pieces for seam (you have divided the piece before the armhole). Front piece = 98-104 sts. Work next row as follows: 27-30 sts navy blue, M.2, 28-31 sts navy blue. At the same time when piece measures 31-32 cm dec 1 st each side for armhole. After M.2 continue in navy blue. Back piece = 98-104 sts. Continue in navy blue and dec 1 st for armhole each side as described for front piece.
Men’s sizes:
Continue in navy blue. When piece measures (34-36) cm, divide the piece in two and complete each piece separately.

Both ladies and Men’s sizes:
Front piece: = 96-102 (102-108) sts. When piece measures 55-56 (59-61) cm cast off the middle 22-22 (22-22) sts for neck and dec to shape the neckline on every other row: 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 2 times and 1 st 2 times. At the same time when piece measures 58-59 (61-63) cm work M.4 and then complete piece in navy blue. Cast off when piece measures 61-62 (64-66) cm.

Back piece: = 96-102 (102-108) sts. When piece measures 58-59 (61-63) cm work M.4 and then complete piece in navy blue. When piece measures 60-61 (63-65) cm cast off the middle 36-36 (36-36) sts for neck and dec 2 sts on neckline on next row Cast off as described for front piece.

Sleeve: Worked in the round on double pointed needles. Cast on 36-38 (40-40) sts on double pointed needle size 3.5 mm with navy blue and work 5 cm Rib. Change to needle size 5 mm and continue in pattern – see above - at the same time inc 12-10 (10-10) sts evenly on first round = 48-48 (50-50) sts. At the same time inc 2 sts mid under arm on every * 3rd and 4th * round alternately for ladies sizes and on every 3rd round for Men’s sizes a total of 27-28 (26-27) times = 102-104 (102-104) sts. When piece measures 48-47 (54-54) cm continue as follows: Ladies: cast off 10 sts mid under arm and complete piece back and forth on needle. Dec for sleeve cap each side on every other row: 6 sts 3 times. Cast off when piece measures 51-50 cm. Men’s sizes: Cast off.

Assembly: Sew shoulder seams. Sew side seams for ladies sizes. Pick up approx 100 sts round neckline on double pointed needles size 3.5 mm with navy blue and work 2.5 cm stocking st, at the same time dec 4 sts evenly along neckline on back piece on first round = 96 sts. Change to blue, work 1 round stocking st, P 1 round (= folding edge), 2.5 cm stocking st, cast off. Fold edge double towards WS and fasten. Set in sleeves, sew in outer loops of sts top avoid a chunky seam.

Hallo, in der Strickanleitung fehlt leider das Muster 4 und das Muster 5. Ich habe schon die Wolle bestellt und angefangen zu stricken und komme leider nicht weiter. Können Sie mir helfen? Danke und beste Grüße, Carolin Winter

M.4 und M.5 sind in M.1 enthalten, wenn Sie dort einmal schauen, sehen Sie M.4 und M.5 oben und unten am rechten Rand des Diagramms markiert. Gutes Gelingen!
