JUMPER:
Knitting tension: 24 sts x 32 rows on needles size 3 mm in stocking sts = 10 x 10 cm.

Rib: *K1, P1*, repeat from *-*.

Pattern: See diagram. The diagram shows the pattern from the RS.

Front and back piece:
Worked in the round on circular needle. Cast on 120-132-144-158 sts on circular needle size 2.5 mm with salmon and work 3-3-3-4 cm Rib. Change to needle size 3 mm continue in stocking st, at the same time inc 0-0-0-10 sts evenly on round = 120-132-144-168 sts. Now work pattern as follows:
Size 3 months: M.3, 2 round salmon, M.2, M.3 and then complete piece in salmon.
Size 6/9 months: M.1, M.2, M.3 and then complete piece in salmon
Size 12/18 + 24 months: M.1, 2 cm salmon, M.2, M.1 and then complete piece in salmon.
Remember knitting tension. When piece measures 14-16-19-20 cm divide piece in 2 (adjust to a whole tulip mid front) and complete front and back pieces separately.

Front piece: = 60-66-72-84 sts. When piece measures 22-25-29-31 cm cast off 12-14-18-20 sts mid front for neck and dec to shape the neckline on every other row as follows: 2 sts 2 times, 1 st 3 times. Cast off remaining 17-19-20-25 sts when piece measures 26-29-33-35 cm.

Back piece: = 60-66-72-84 sts. When piece measures 21-24-28-30 cm cast off 4 sts mid back for split and complete each side separately. Left side: inc 7 sts towards split for band (work these in salmon and Rib). When piece measures 24-27-31-31 cm cast off to shape the neckline on every other row: 16-17-19-20 sts 1 time, 1 st twice. Cast off remaining sts when piece measures 26-29-33-35 cm. Right side: like left side, but after 1.5 cm make a buttonhole in the centre of band. 1 buttonhole = cast off 2 sts and cast on 2 new sts on return row.

Sleeve: Cast on 38-40-40-42 sts on double pointed needles size 2.5 mm with salmon and work 2-2-2-3 cm Rib. Change to needle size 3 mm, at the same time inc 2-4-8-10 sts evenly = 40-44-48-52 sts. Continue in pattern as described for body piece – place 2 pattern repeats mid upper sleeve - at the same time inc 2 sts mid under arm a total of 9-9-10-10 times as follows:
Size 3 months: on every 4th round
Size 6/9 + 12/18 +24 months: on every 5th and 6th round alternately
= 58-62-68-72 sts. When piece measures 9-12-13 (15-19) cm cast off 6 sts mid under arm and complete sleeve back and forth on needle. Cast off when sleeve measures 16-20-22-23 cm, adjust to pattern.

Assembly: Sew shoulder seams. Fasten band at bottom of split. Pick up approx 80-90 sts round neck on needle size 2.5 mm with salmon and work 1.5 cm Rib, at the same time after 0.5 cm make a buttonhole in line with the other on shoulder, change to red, K 1 round, cast off. Set in sleeves and sew on buttons.
