I have 2 x 14" (36cm) round pillows to cover. I love this pattern. Is there a way to knit it smaller with the same yarn guage?

Dear Mireille, this pattern match a pillow 55 cm in diameter, you can recalculate with the help of your tension how to adapt it to the desired size. Happy knitting!

To lady from Argentina. For example after you have knitted 5sts and turn knitting round, you have to pull hard (tight) on yarn to start first stitch of return round otherwise it will cause a hole. I must admit even I find it hard not to have a hold even though I pull yarn quite tightly. Maybe practice makes perfect in this case! Hope it makes sense.

Beste Micheline. Gr. Tine

Repeat from *-* until you have 240 rows on the first sts on needle (= a total of 30 turn repeats). Cast off. Make 1 more piece in the same way. ASSEMBLY: Sew cast on row to cast off row. NOTE! Sew a thread through the outer loops of sts round the hole and tighten tog. Sew pieces tog in outer loops of sts. |
