Hej.

Tuleeko alotukseen siis 6 kerrosta ainaoikeaa = sanalliset 2 krs + ruutupiirroksen 4 krs? Kaunis malli.

Kyllä, työn alkuun tulee 2 + 4 krs ainaoikeaa.

What is the yardage for this piece? Or, how many balls of yarn are used.

Dear Robin, click here to read more about DROPS Merino Extra-Fine. To make this pattern, you will need 200 g / 50 g (1 ball Merino Extra Fine) = 4 balls. Happy knitting!

I love all the patterns, but it would be really helpful, for us beginners, to find a picture (close up) of the final work. Because I am really not sure if I am doing the right thing because I have nothing to compare my work with. Is it possible to get it for this pattern in particular? Thank you!

Drops patterns need to differentiate between "yarn overs" and "yarn forwards" in their knitting patterns. What I would describe as a yarn forward in this pattern to produce the desired effect as per photo, is termed a yarn over. A video illustrating "yarn over", "yarn forward" and "yarn around needle" could be of help to clear up any difficulties.
