Bonjour Mme Montagut, la maille tricotée avec les 2 fils (rouge et noir) doit être visible sur l'endroit mais le fil noir qui suit doit être lui sur l'envers (invisible sur l'endroit) mais doit être à peine visible - regardez la dernière photo peut-être que ça vous parlera davantage de voir le résultat?

------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- RIDGE/GARTER STITCH (worked back and forth): Knit all rows. 1 ridge = knit 2 rows. PATTERN: See illustration A. The diagram shows the embroidered stitches. ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- LADYBIRD – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: The piece is worked back and forth, from head. The whole piece is worked in GARTER STITCH – read description above. The piece is filled with wadding and sewn together. LADYBIRD: Cast on 16 stitches with needle size 3.5 mm and DROPS Merino Extra Fine, colour black. Leave a strand of approx. 20 cm – used when assembling. ROWS 1-2: Knit. ROW 3: Knit 1, * make 1 yarn over, knit 2 *, work from *-* 6 more times, 1 yarn over and knit 1 = 24 stitches. ROW 4: Knit – yarn overs knitted twisted to avoid holes. ROWS 5-8: Knit. Cut the strand. Leave a strand of approx. 20 cm – used when assembling. ROWS 9-10: Change to colour red - leave a strand of approx. 20 cm – used when assembling. Knit. ROW 11: Knit 2, * make 1 yarn over, knit 4 *, work from *-* 4 more times, 1 yarn over and knit 2 = 30 stitches. ROW 12: Knit – yarn overs knitted twisted to avoid holes. Cut a strand of colour black, approx. 1 metre in length, which is used on the next row. ROW 30: Use colour red and knit. ROW 31: Knit 6 with colour red, knit 2 together with colour red, knit the next stitch with colours red and black, knit 2 together with colour red and knit the last 21 stitches with colour red = 30 stitches. ROW 32: Use colour red and knit. ROW 33: Use colour red, * knit 1, knit 2 together *, work from *-* 9 more times = 20 stitches. ROW 34: Use colour red and cast off with knit. Leave a strand of approx. 20 cm – used when assembling. EMBROIDERY: Use colour black and work chain stitches (approx. ½-1 cm long) on each side of the black stitch on the ladybird’s back - see diagram A. ASSEMBLY: Fold the piece so the sides are together (the stitch with red and black is mid-top of back), the cast-off edge lies double on one side and the cast-on edge lies double on the other side. There is 1 black and 1 red strand at the side, 1 black strand by the cast-on edge and 1 red strand by the cast-off edge. Use these strands to sew together the cast-on and cast-off edges. Fill with wadding. Use the red strand to sew together as far as the cast-off edge and the black strand to sew together as far as the cast-on edge. Cut and fasten the strands. |
