Addition to previous my question: I noticed that the yarn link on the pattern webpage for Canadian shoppers (in CAD) directs to the Wool Warehouse website, another British supplier, and they do show a currency converter. I remembered the name of the US supplier (Nordic Mart), and searched for it online but it looks like it's no longer in business. I am surprised and saddened that there is not even 1 Drops supplier in all of North America. How can that be??

Has "Eskimo" been renamed "Snow"? The "Celeste" pattern used to call for Eskimo, but now calls for Snow. The yarn label, however, still says "Eskimo", at least it does on the Purple Sheep Yarns webpage which is where the link on the pattern webpage directs to for US buyers (US dollars). But Purple Sheep Yarns is a British supplier, with prices in GBP, and no automatic conversion for US dollars. Does Drops no longer have a US supplier? If Snow is new name for Eskimo, why not on label?

Hei!

Is it possible to make this pattern with bulky or chunky yarn or worsted yarn? If so, how many stitches would I need to cast on?

Dear Jodi, this pattern is written for a super bulky yarn (read more about the yarn here. You can adjust it to your own tension following measurements/tension in this pattern or browse our similar patterns using tension as a guide. Happy knitting!

I am confused regarding Row 4 of the double seed stitch pattern. It says that Row 4 is the same as Row2. Row 2 is K over K and P over P. Most double seed stitch patterns are 2 rows of K2,P2 and 2 rows of P2,K2. That would be 3 rows of K2,P2 if row 2 and row 4 are the same. Please clarify
09.11.2017 - 22:03DROPS Design answered:
Dear Jodi, on round 4 you work K over K and P over P, but as you worked K2,P2 on round 2 you will work P2,K2 on round 4, ie work the sts as you worked them on round 3. See also video below. Happy knitting!
