Diagram A.1 visar hur varvet börjar och slutar.

Felted seating pad with stripes, worked in the round in DROPS Snow.
DROPS 178-17 |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
PATTERN: See diagrams A.1 and A.2. (A.1 shows how the rounds start and finish). STRIPES-1 (off white with blue/violet stripes): ROUNDS 1 AND 2 + CASTING ON: Off white ROUND 3: Blue/violet ROUNDS 4 AND 5: Off white ROUND 6: Blue/violet ROUND 7: Off white ROUND 8: Blue/violet ROUND 9: Off white ROUND 10: Blue/violet STRIPES-2 (blue/violet with off white stripes): ROUNDS 1 AND 2 + CASTING ON: Blue/violet ROUND 3: Off white ROUNDS 4 AND 5: Blue/violet ROUND 6: Off white ROUND 7: Blue/violet ROUND 8: Off white ROUND 9: Blue/violet ROUND 10: Off white COLOUR CHANGE: To get the neatest transition when changing colours, work the last slip stitch of the round with the new colour as follows: Put the hook in the 1st/3rd/4th/5th chain stitch from the beginning of the round, make a yarn over with the new colour and pull it through the loop on the hook. ---------------------------------------------------------- FELTED SEATING PAD: Start with crochet hook size 8 mm and off white. Work 4 chain stitches and form them into a ring with 1 slip stitch in 1st chain stitch. Work STRIPES-1 and COLOUR CHANGE – see description above and work pattern in the round from diagram A.2 in total 8 times on the round. A.1 shows how the rounds start and finish. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! When the whole of diagrams A.1 and A.2 have been worked in height, the seating pad measures approx. 45 cm in diameter. Cut and fasten the strand. Work another seating pad in the same way, but work with the opposite colours, in other words you work STRIPES-2 – see description above. FELTING: Place the seating pads in the washing machine using a detergent without enzymes and optical bleach and together with a towel. Wash at 40 degrees with the normal centrifuge and without pre-wash. After washing, shape the seating pads while they are still wet. Later, wash them as normal wool garments. AFTER FELTING: If the piece is not felted enough and is too big: Wash the piece one more time in the washing machine while it is still wet add a terry towel that measures approx. 50 x 70 cm - NOTE: Do not use a short program. If the piece has been felted too much and is too small: While the piece is still wet stretch it to the correct measurements, if the piece is dry, make sure to soak it first. Remember: All subsequent washes are as a normal wool garment. |
