11.02.2020 - 16:00DROPS Design answered:
Dag Monique,

Sorry, the hat doesn't look like this, the top of the hat comes out massive and not well round shaped. For better result in this place ""When piece measures 27-29-31 cm from marking thread"" try to start decrease earlier and very, very gradually, and follow your feelings for better rounded shape (as it is impossible after felting)

Thank you .Apologies I should have also checked that knitting 2 together is then only on the knit rows? i am working with 9mm needles and when i get to 101 stitches my work is already measuring 11cm. if I decrease needle size the work will be far too tight surely
22.01.2019 - 09:52DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Bach, the decreases will be worked from RS (after 2nd row = on 3rd row = from RS, row with knit stitches). You should have 10 sts x 14 rows in stocking stitch = 10 x 10 cm. If your tension is correct, you should get the correct measurements. If you get too many stitches on 10 cm, change to a larger needle size. If you get too few stitches on 10 cm, change to a smaller needle size. Happy knitting!

I am new to felting. This pattern mentions knit back and forth . The tension swatch shows stocking stitch and the second row of the pattern says knit stocking st. Please help as I am desperate as I am not sure if I should be knitting or doing stocking st ?

Dear Mrs Bach, the hat is entirely worked in stocking stitch, back and forth (= in rows). Happy knitting!

Hej.

Come possibile? Forse devo fare un ciclo completo?
20.08.2018 - 10:03DROPS Design answered:
Buongiorno Angela. Buon lavoro!
