How to knit the short row heel with diagonal shaping of a sock by putting sts on a thread
Knit stocking sts on heel sts, and at the same time slip 1 st at the end of every row on a strand of yarn or a stitch holder. Continue until there are 3 sts on holders each side and 4 sts left on needle.
Now continue in stocking sts, and at the same time work 1 st from stitch holder back on needle at the end of every row Note: to avoid a hole pick up 2 sts between sts on needle and sts on stitch holder. On next row work these 2 sts and st from holder tog to 1 st.
Continue like this until all sts are back on needle. Work 1 row stocking st on all sts and then continue on all sts on round again.

21.10.2016 - 20:11Dit is een kleine sok, werkt dit ook voor een sok voor maat 43 bijvoorbeeld? Ik ben nu als eerste bezig met een sok in één kleur om de techniek vd hakken etc te leren, wil erna dolgraag de sokken in patronen en kleuren leren. Trouwens dit lijkt de meest makkelijke manier om hielen te breien, klopt dat?

Hoi Karla. Je kan dit ook gewoon doen bij andere sokken in een grotere maat - maar je werkt dan natuurlijk met een ander aantal st (zie bijvoorbeeld de patronen onder de video ter inspiratie). Dit is inderdaad een heel eenvoudige manier om hielen te breien, maar of het de makkelijkste manier is, is volgens mij ook een beetje een kwestie van smaak :)

23.02.2012 - 15:35Alle video's zijn zonder geluid. De video's worden wereldwijd bekeken en niet iedereen begrijpen bijv Engels. Daarom hebben we ook een geschreven instructie bij de video toegevoegd.
