How to work a cable with relief-stitches

In this DROPS video we show to work a cable in relief-stitches after a chart. This cable is used in the Day to Date jumper in DROPS 207-11.

This jumper is crocheted in DROPS merino Extra Fine, but in the video we work with a thicker yarn; DROPS Snow.

DROPS Design :

Dear Karen, This jumper is worked in the round, ie you always work from the right side and never turn. The stitches shouldn't gradually angled. Happy crocheting!

First we easy show how to crochet a chain stitch rings with 8 chain stitches and 1 slip stitch, that later will be put together to a cable. We work treble crochet between the chain stitch rings. Then we show how to crochet the chain stitch rings together so it becomes a cable. At the end we show how to work the cables with a slip stitch so it fastened to the round with treble crochet.
