EXPLANATION FOR THE PATTERN:

----------------------------------------------------------

GARTER STITCH (worked in the round):
1 ridge vertically = 2 rounds, i.e. knit 1 round and purl 1 round.

PATTERN:
See diagram A.1.

----------------------------------------------------------

START THE PIECE HERE:

----------------------------------------------------------

HAT - SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE GARMENT:
Worked in the round on a short circular needle, bottom up. Switch to double pointed needles when needed.

HAT:
Cast on 70-80-90-100 stitches with Baby Merino on a short circular needle size 3 mm. Work 2 ridges in GARTER STITCH – see explanation above, then work A.1 over all stitches (= 7-8-9-10 repetitions of 10 stitches). Work A.1 until piece measures 13-14-15-16 cm, adjust after one whole repetition vertically. Insert 1 marker thread in first stitch in each repetition in diagram = 7-8-9-10 marker threads. Then work diagram one more time, AT THE SAME TIME decrease on the rounds marked with arrows. Decrease as follows: Slip stitch before stitch with marker, knit stitch with marker + the next stitch together, pass the slipped stitch over (= 2 stitches decreased). Repeat this decrease on all repetitions at the 3 arrows, i.e. decrease 42-48-54-60 stitches = 28-32-36-40 stitches remain on needle. After last round of A.1 work 1 round in stocking stitch, AT THE SAME TIME work all stitches together 2 by 2 = 14-16-18-20 stitches remain on needle. Cut the yarn and pull it through the remaining stitches, tighten tog and fasten.

Diagram

= knit
= between 2 stitches make 1 yarn over, on next round knit yarn over to make a hole
= slip 1 stitch knitwise, knit 2 together and pass slipped stitch over stitches worked together
= decrease round - read explanation in pattern

Venligst svar på mit spørgsmål fra 10-7?

DROPS Design 11.07.2019 kl. 11:48:

Hei Pia. Se svar under :)

Vitta 11.07.2019 - 05:56:

Hello, Please I need help with decrease. I insert marker in first stitch, before is yarn over and after is yarn over, slip yarn over and knit together yarn over with first stitch?

DROPS Design 11.07.2019 kl. 07:22:

Hi Vitta, You have 1 marker inserted in the first stitch of each repeat of A.1. At each of these markers slip the stitch before the stitch with the marker onto the right needle, knit the stitch with the marker and the next stitch together and then pass the slipped stitch over the 2 knitted together stitches. 2 stitches decreased. Do the same at each marker. I hope this helps and happy knitting!

Venligst Pia

DROPS Design 11.07.2019 kl. 11:47:

Hei Pia. Løft kastet over på høyre pinne på samme måte som du løfter en maske over, det går helt fint. God fornøyelse

Na jakiej wysokości zamykamy oczka ?

DROPS Design 04.07.2019 kl. 11:59:

Witaj Agnieszko!

Buon lavoro!
