POT HOLDER:
The piece is worked in the round with circular needle.
Cast on 84 stitches with circular needle size 4.5 mm and mustard. Purl 1 round. Insert a marker thread at the start of the round. Work the pattern according to diagram A.1 (= 12 stitches) 7 times on the whole round. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION!
When the whole of diagram A.1 has been completed in height, work the next round as follows with mustard: Knit the first 42 stitches, cast on 14 new stitches for the loop, knit the remaining 42 stitches on the round. Cast off with purl. The pot holder measures approx. 23 x 21 cm. Fold the pot holder double so that the marker thread is in the one side and the loop in the other side. Sew the pot holder together at the top and bottom with small stitches. Work one more pot holder in the same way.
