See diagrams A.1 and A.2.

When changing quality work as follows: Before last pull through of last loop on hook, switch quality, pull the last loop on hook through with the new quality.

Work 1 large and 1 small star. At the end of last round fasten small start to big star.

Work 5 ch on hook size 3 mm with 1 strand Cotton Light and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. Continue working in the round according to A.1 but switch to 2 strands Kid-Silk when beg last round - READ YARN CHANGE and REMEMBER CROCHET TENSION. When A.1 is done, fasten off.

Work 5 ch on hook size 3 mm with 1 strand Cotton Light and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. Continue to work in the round according to A.2. When A.2 has been worked, work sl sts until first tip on star. Now work the small start and large star tog as follows: Place one of the tips on the large star against the small star, so that stars are WS against WS. Work 1 dc around picot on both stars. Fasten off.

Make a tassel with Kid-Silk as follows:
Cut 22 strand of 20 cm and place the strands tog. Cut 2 strands of 20 cm, tie a knot around the middle of the 22 strands. Fold in two at the knot, and twine a yarn Kid-Silk 8 times around approx. 1 cm down to fold, tie a knot. Cut the strands to make the tassel even at the bottom. Fasten tassel at the bottom of the large star. I.e. in the tip in the opposite side of where the small star was fastened - see picture.

Twined string: Cut 2 strands Cotton Light of 100 cm. Twine the strands tog until they resist, fold the string double so that it twines again. Tie a knot in each end so that string stays twined. Pull string through hole in picot at the top of the small star and distribute string so that the ends are the same length and measure approx. 12 cm. Tie the 2 ends tog (= strap for hanging).

= 1 ch
= 1 dc around ch/ch-ring
= 1 dc in st
= 1 tr in st
= 1 tr around ch-space
= Picot: 3 ch, 1 tr in first ch
= beg round with 3 ch and finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch
= beg round with 1 ch and finish with 1 sl st in first ch
= 5 ch, 1 sl st in first ch Black dot is beg of round.
