See diagrams A.1 to A.6. Work entire pattern in stocking st.

Row 1 (= RS): K until 9 sts remain, slip next st as if to K, K 1, psso, turn piece.
Row 2 (= WS): P until 9 sts remain, slip next st as if to P, P 1, psso, turn piece.
Row 3 (= RS): K until 8 sts remain, slip next st as if to K, K 1, psso, turn piece.
Row 4 (= WS): P until 8 sts remain, slip next st as if to P, P 1, psso, turn piece.
Continue dec like this with 1 less st before each dec until there are 15 sts on needle.

Worked in the round on double pointed needles.
Cast on 72 sts in all sizes on double pointed needles size 2.5 mm with royal blue. K 1 round, then work rib = K 1/P 1 for 3 cm. Switch to double pointed needles size 3 mm and work pattern in the round according to diagram A.1 (= 6 repetitions of 12 sts). REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION When A.1 has been worked, K 1 round with light pearl grey while dec 4-0-0 sts evenly = 68-72-72 sts. K 1 round with royal blue. Work next round as follows: Work A.2 (= 3 sts), A.3A (= 10 sts), A.4A (= 17-21-21 sts), A.2 (= 3 sts) and A.5 (= 35 sts). Continue the pattern like this - NOTE: Dec at the back of sock as shown in diagram A.5. When A.5 has been worked 1 time vertically, there are 64-68-68 sts remain on needle and piece measures approx. 22-22-22 cm. Now slip the first 33-37-37 sts on 1 stitch holder (i.e. sts in A.2 + A.3A + A.4A + A.2 = mid on top of foot) = 31 sts remain on needle in all sizes for heel. Work A.6 over heel sts for 5-5½-6 cm, insert 1 marker in piece, then work HEEL DEC (continue A.6) – see explanation above. After heel dec, pick up 12-13-14 sts along each side of heel with royal blue and slip the 33-37-37 sts from stitch holder at the top of foot back on needle = 72-78-80 sts. Continue the 33-37-37 sts on top of foot in pattern as before, work the other sts in A.6 (= under foot). AT THE SAME TIME dec on each side of the 33-37-37 sts on top of foot as follows: K the 2 sts before the 33-37-37 sts on top of foot tog with royal blue and K the 2 sts after the 33-37-37 sts on top of foot twisted tog with royal blue (= 2 sts dec). Repeat dec every other round 6 times in total = 60-66-68 sts. Work pattern until piece measures 18-19-22 cm from marker on heel (approx. 4-5-5 cm remain until finished measurements). Then work as follows: Work A.2 as before over the 3 sts in each side and A.6 over sts both on top and under foot. Then dec for toe on each side of A.2 in each side as follows: Work until 2 sts remain before A.2, K 2 tog (with the colour in the current stripe), work A.2 (= 3 sts), slip 1 st as if to K, K 1 (with the colour in the current stripe), psso. Repeat dec in each side every other round a total of 4-7-7 times and then every round a total of 5-3-3 times = 24-26-28 sts remain on needle. On next round K all sts tog 2 by 2 with light pearl grey = 12-13-14 sts. Cut the yarn and pull it through the remaining sts, tighten tog and fasten.

Work as right but reversed. I.e. on 1st round with pattern after A.1 work as follows: Work A.5 (= 35 sts), A.2 (= 3 sts), A.4B (= 17-21-21 sts), A.3B (= 10 sts), A.2 (= 3 sts).

Hej!

Indtagningen var i A.5
