PATTERN:
See diagrams A.1 - A.2. The diagrams show all rows in pattern seen from RS.
----------------------------------------------------------

NECK WARMER:
Work back and forth and sew tog mid back afterwards.
Work 134 ch on hook size 5 mm with 1 strand Alpaca and 1 strand Kid-Silk.
ROW 1: Turn and work 1 tr in fourth ch from hook (= 2 tr), work 1 tr in each of the next 4 ch, * skip 1 ch, 1 tr in each of the next 5 ch *, repeat from *-* = 111 tr.
ROW 2: Then work according to diagram A.1 as follows: A.1 A, A.1 B 9 times in total, finish with A.1 C. When A.1 has been worked 1 time vertically, repeat A.2 upwards.
Continue until piece measures approx. 35 cm - adjust after a whole repetition of A.2, cut the yarn. Sew neck warmer tog mid back.

Diagram

= ch
= dc
= 1 tr in st from previous row
= 1 tr in ch-space from previous row
= 1 picot: 1 dc in ch-space, 3 ch, 1 tr in the first of the 3 ch

Germana 16.11.2017 - 16:53:

Hi, in the 4th row of A.2 there are 5 picots for 6 chain spaces, is there maybe a mistake in the explanation for the picot? If this actually goes in the dc from previous row then the design is symmetric (one dc skipped at beginning and end of fan). From the diagram it also looks like the picot should go in the stitch and not around the chain. If I crochet the picot around the chain then the fan is not symmetric anymore. Thank you in advance for the clarification.

Forget my previous question, I get it now!

Cinzia Ferrari 15.11.2016 - 14:34:

DROPS Design 15.11.2016 kl. 14:48:

Buongiorno Cinzia. Sì l'indicazione del grafico è corretta. Buon lavoro!

Drops Alpaca 24.10.2016 - 23:19:

Is there a written pattern for this instead of the diagram? I am not good with diagrams.. :(

DROPS Design 25.10.2016 kl. 09:17:

Hi, you will find under diagram text all symbols and the st/group of st they represent. Start reading diagram from the bottom on the right side towards the left from RS (row 1 in A.1) and read from the left towards the right from WS (row 2 in A.1). Work A.1 1 time in width (beg of row), repeat A.1B until 2 sts remain and work A.1C (= 2 sts). Happy crocheting!
