Pattern instructions

NOTE: This pattern is written in British English. All measurements in charts are in cm. For conversion from cm to inches - click here. CROCHET INFO:
Beg every round with 1 ch (this does not replace first dc) and finish every round with 1 sl st in first dc from beg of round.

WORK 2 DC TOG AS FOLLOWS:
Insert hook in first dc and pull thread through, insert hook in next dc and pull thread through, make a YO and pull thread through all 3 loops on hook.

DOUGHNUT:
Crochet 30 ch with dark beige on hook size 3 mm and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
ROUND 1: READ CROCHET INFO! Work 1 dc in every ch = 30 dc.
ROUND 2: * Work 1 dc in each of the first 2 dc, then 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 40 dc.
ROUND 3: * Work 1 dc in each of the first 3 dc, then 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 50 dc.
ROUND 4: * Work 1 dc in each of the first 4 dc, then 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 60 dc.
ROUND 5-10: 1 dc in every dc.
ROUND 11: Switch to medium pink or light light pink and work 1 dc in every dc.
ROUND 12: Work a space row in the round by working only in front loop the entire round as follows: 1 dc in first dc, * work 1 ch, skip 1 dc and work 1 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round and finish with 1 sl st in first dc from beg of round.
ROUND 13: Work 1 dc in back loop of every dc (ROUND 11) the entire round.
ROUND 14-16: Work 1 dc in every dc.
ROUND 17: * Work 1 dc in each of the first 4 dc, then WORK 2 DC TOG * – see explanation above, repeat from *-* = 50 dc.
ROUND 18: * Work 1 dc in each of the first 3 dc, then work 2 dc tog *, repeat from *-* = 40 dc.
ROUND 19: * Work 1 dc in each of the first 2 dc, then work 2 dc tog *, repeat from *-* = 30 dc. Do not cut the yarn, use it to work the doughnut tog in the middle at the end.

ASSEMBLY:
Use red and embroider on small stitches at the top of doughnut in medium pink and use turquoise, green, pink and yellow on the doughnut in light light pink. Work the doughnut tog in the middle with sl sts in pink or light light pink, fill with cotton wool while working. Fasten off.

Do you mean US double crochet or UK double crochet? The pattern looks like single crochet but in your cupcake pattern, you wrote single crochet and it was single crochet. The photo looks like single crochet. Please help!

DROPS! you did not mention that round 13 is worked in the back loops of ROUND 11!!! ... I finished the whole doughnut and then read the instrunctions in German until I found this out :(

Hej, jeg har et problem ved række 12 og 13, jeg får ikke den samme fine kant som på billederne. Jeg har fulgt opskriften og også set jeres videoer af at hækle i forreste og bageste maskebue. Skal der flere lm imellem eller hvad tror i fejlen er? Vh Ida

Liebes DROPS Team, In Runde 13 komme ich nicht weiter. Sollen die festen Maschen in die festen Maschen der Bogenkante gehäkelt werden? Oder in das hintere Maschenglied der festen Maschen aus Runde 11? Vielen Dank für die Hilfe!

Damit sich die abstehende Bogenkante ergibt, müssen Sie in die hinteren M-Glieder aller fM der 11. Rd häkeln. Das wird in der Anleitung zur Verdeutlichung noch ergänzt, da es in der Tat nicht ganz klar ist. Weiterhin viel Spaß mit diesen völlig kalorierenfreien Donuts! :-)
