50 g in desired colour.
We've used:
03 old pink, 11 khaki green, 24 heather and 26, chestnut.
And use:
DROPS SAFRAN from Garnstudio
50 g in desired colour.
We've used:
01 light pink, 13, raspberry, 31 lime and 52 dark brown.

Some cotton wool for filling

Pattern instructions

NOTE: This pattern is written in British English. All measurements in charts are in cm. For conversion from cm to inches - click here. CROCHET INFO:
Beg every round with 1 ch (this does not replace first dc) and finish with 1 sl st in first dc from beg of round.

WORK 2 DC TOG AS FOLLOWS:
Insert hook in first dc and pull thread through, insert hook in next dc and pull thread through, make a YO and pull thread through all 3 loops on hook.

MACAROON:
Work 5 ch with Cotton Viscose and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
ROUND 1: 8 dc in ch-ring – READ CROCHET INFO!
ROUND 2: 2 dc in every dc the entire round = 16 dc.
ROUND 3: * 1 dc in first dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 24 dc.
ROUND 4: * 1 dc in each of the first 2 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 32 dc.
ROUND 5: * 1 dc in each of the first 3 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 40 dc.
ROUND 6: * 1 dc in each of the first 4 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 48 dc.
ROUND 7: * 1 dc in each of the first 4 dc, work 2 dc tog (see explanation above) *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 40 dc.
ROUND 8: 1 dc in first dc, * 1 dc in next dc, then work the next 2 dc tog (see explanation above) *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 27 dc. Fasten off, switch to Safran.
ROUND 9-11: Work 1 dc in every dc.
Fasten off, switch back to Cotton Viscose.
ROUND 12: 1 dc in first dc, * 1 dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 40 dc.
ROUND 13: * 1 dc in each of the first 4 dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 48 dc.
ROUND 14: * 1 dc in each of the 4 first dc, then work 2 dc tog *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 40 dc.
ROUND 15: * 1 dc in each of the 3 first dc, then work 2 dc tog *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 32 dc.
ROUND 16: * 1 dc in each of the 2 first dc, then work 2 dc tog *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 24 dc.
ROUND 17: * 1 dc in first dc, then work 2 dc tog *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 16 dc.
ROUND 18: Work all dc tog 2 by 2 = 8 dc.
Fasten off. Fill the macaroon with some cotton wool, sew the thread end around the opening and tighten tog.
Stick a needle threaded with yarn through the middle of the macaroons and through to the other side, stick needle through to other side again a bit further away and tighten tog so that macaroon is somewhat flat, fasten off.
