50 g colour no 18, off white

DROPS CROCHET HOOK SIZE 3.5 mm – or size needed to get 12 htr and 12 ch-loops with Safran = width 10 cm.

HTR ROW:
Beg every htr row with 2 ch (not counted as 1st htr), work 1 htr in 1st ch-loop, then 1 ch and 1 htr in every ch-loop, finish with 1 ch and 1 htr in 1st ch-loop from previous row, turn piece.

HEAD BAND:
Worked back and forth. Work 105 ch with Safran on hook size 3.5 mm, then 1 htr in 5th ch from hook (= 1st htr + 2 ch + 1 htr), * skip 1 ch, 1 ch, 1 htr in next ch *, repeat from *-*, turn piece = 52 htr and 51 ch-loops. Then work HTR ROW - Read explanation above - until piece measures approx. 4 cm vertically, do not cut the thread.

CROCHET EDGE:
Work 1 dc in 1st ch-loop on row, * in next ch-loop work 3 dc with 3 ch between every dc, then 1 dc in next ch-loop *, repeat from *-* the entire row, cut and fasten the thread. Repeat on the other side of head band.

TIES:
Work ch for approx. 28 cm, fasten the tie in one corner on the head band with 1 sl st, turn and work 1 sl st in every ch back, cut and fasten the thread. Repeat in every corner on the head band = 4 ties.

FLOWER:
Worked in the round with Safran on hook size 3.5 mm. Work 5 ch and form a ring with 1 sl st in 1st ch.
ROUND 1: 1 ch, * 1 dc in ch-ring, 3 ch *, repeat from *-* a total of 6 times, finish with 1 sl st in 1st dc from beg of round = 6 dc and 6 ch-loops.
ROUND 2: Crochet as follows in every ch-loop: 1 dc, 3 tr, 1 dc. Finish round with 1 sl st in 1st dc from beg of round = 6 leaves, turn piece - work next round on the back of the flower.
ROUND 3: 1 ch, 1 dc in 1st dc from 1st round, * 4 ch, 1 dc in next dc from 1st round *, repeat from *-* a total of 5 times, finish with 4 ch and 1 sl st in 1st dc from beg of round = 6 dc and 6 ch-loops, turn piece – work next round on the front of flower.
ROUND 4: Work as follows in every ch-loop from 3rd round: 1 dc, 5 tr, 1 dc. Finish round with 1 sl st in 1st dc from beg of round = 6 leaves, turn piece - work next round on the back of the flower.
ROUND 5: 1 ch, 1 dc in 1st dc from 3rd round, * 5 ch, 1 dc in next dc from 3rd round *, repeat from *-* a total of 5 times, finish with 5 ch and 1 sl st in 1st dc from beg of round = 6 dc and 6 ch-loops, turn piece – work next round on the front of flower.
ROUND 6: Crochet as follows in every ch-loop: 1 dc, 7 tr, 1 dc. Finish round with 1 sl st in 1st dc from beg of round = 6 leaves, cut and fasten the thread.

Work 2 more flowers but work only round 1 to 4 (= 2 smaller flowers). Sew the flowers on to the head band.
