Work rounds in dc as follows: 1 ch (NOTE: not counted as first dc), 1 dc in every st, finish with 1 sl st in 1st st at beg of round.

Crochet in the round from bottom up. Crochet 84-88 ch on hook size 4 mm with 1 thread Nepal and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. Work 1 round dc - Read CROCHET INFO above = 84-88 dc, insert a marker after 59-62 sts. Continue to work dc in the round until piece measures approx. 9 cm, do not cut the thread. Knit up 84-88 sts on double pointed needles size 5 mm along the upper edge, work in stocking st in the round for 3-4 cm. On next round, insert a marker at beg of round and dec as follows: * Work 10-9 sts, K the next 2 sts tog (= 1 dec st) *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 7-8 dec sts on the round. Move the marker upwards when working. Repeat dec of 7-8 sts on round like this by dec 1 st after every 9, 8, 7 sts etc. on every round until 7-8 sts remain on round. Cut the thread and pull it through the remaining sts, tighten tog and fasten.

Crochet back and forth along bottom edge mid front on hook size 4 mm with 2 threads Nepal. Work from RS, beg at marker on bottom edge as follows: Pick up the thread in 1 dc, 1 ch, 1 dc in each of the next 34-36 dc, turn piece. Work next row as follows: 1 sl st in 1st dc, 1 dc in every dc until 1 dc remains, 1 sl st in last dc = 32-34 dc (2 dec sts). Continue to dec 1 st in each side like this (working 1 sl st in 1st and last st on row) until brim measures 7-8 cm (or desired length), cut the thread and fasten.
