Pattern instructions

CROCHET TIPS:
On rounds with only dc replace first dc with 1 ch. Finish each round with 1 sl st in ch from beg of round.

CROCHET 2 DC TOG:
Insert hook in first dc, pull thread through, insert hook in next dc and pull thread through, YO and now pull thread through all 3 loops on hook = 1 dec dc.

BODY:
Crochet 20 ch with white and hook size 3 mm and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
1st round: 20 dc in ring – READ TIPS!
2nd-8th round: 1 dc in each dc.
round 9: * 1 dc in first two dc, then crochet the next 2 dc tog * – see explanation above, repeat *-* = 15 dc.
10th round: * 1 dc in first dc, then crochet the next 2 dc tog *, repeat *-* = 10 dc.
11th round: Crochet 2 dc tog all the way round = 5 dc.

HEAD:
12th round: 2 dc in each dc = 10 dc.
13 round: inc 8 dc evenly distributed = 18 dc.
14-17th round: 1 dc in each dc.
Fill the head.
18th round: * 1 dc in first dc, then crochet the next 2 dc tog *, repeat *-* = 12 dc.
19th round: Crochet 2 dc tog all the way round = 6 dc.
Now crochet a ch-string á approx 12 cm, cut the thread, sew the thread through the 6 dc on top of head and fasten the thread so that the ch-band makes a loop.

LACE EDGE.
Work around the bottom of the body: 1 dc in first st, * 5 ch, skip 1 st, 1 dc in next st *, repeat *-* and finish with 5 ch and 1 sl st in first dc on round.

WINGS:
Work 6 ch and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
1st round: 1 dc in ring, 5 ch, 1 dc in ring, 9 ch, 1 dc in ring, 9 ch, 1 dc in ring, 5 ch, 1 sl st in first dc on round.
2nd round: In first and last ch-loops (= 5 ch) work: 1 dc, 1 ch, 5 tr, 1 ch and 1 dc.
In the 2 other ch-loops (= 9 ch) work: 1 dc, 1 ch, 12 tr, 1 ch and 1 dc.
Finish with 1 sl st in first dc on round.
3rd round: 1 sl st in first dc, 1 dc in first tr, * 3 ch, 1 dc in next tr *, repeat *-* a total of 4 times, 1 dc in the next 2 dc, 1 dc in next tr, repeat *-* 11 times, 1 dc in 2 next dc, 1 dc in next tr, repeat *-* 11 times, 1 dc in the next 2 dc, 1 dc in next tr, repeat *-* a total of 4 times, 1 dc in last dc and 1 sl st in first dc from beg of row. Cut the thread.

ASSEMBLY:
Sew the wing to back of body – put the larger part of the wing on top and the smaller on the bottom.

LOOSE ANGEL WINGS:
Work 6 ch and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
1st round: 1 dc in ring, 5 ch, 1 dc in ring, 9 ch, 1 dc in ring, 9 ch, 1 dc in ring, 5 ch, 1 sl st in first dc on round.
2nd round: In first and last ch-loops (= 5 ch) work: 1 dc, 1 ch, 5 tr, 1 ch and 1 dc.
In the 2 other ch-loops (= 9 ch) work: 1 dc, 1 ch, 12 tr, 1 ch and 1 dc.
Finish with 1 sl st in first dc from beg of round.
3rd round: 1 sl st in first dc, 1 dc in first tr, * 3 ch, 1 dc in next tr *, repeat *-* a total of 4 times, 1 dc in the next 2 dc, 1 dc in next tr, repeat *-* 11 times, 1 dc in the next 2 dc, 1 dc in next tr, repeat *-* 11 times, 1 dc in 2 next dc, 1 dc in next tr, repeat *-* a total of 4 times, 1 dc in last dc and 1 sl st in first dc in the beg of row. Cut the thread and fasten.
