CROCHET TIPS:
On rounds with only sc replace first sc with 1 ch. Finish each round with 1 sl st in ch from beg of round.

CROCHET 2 SC TOG:
Insert hook in first sc, pull thread through, insert hook in next sc and pull thread through, YO and now pull thread through all 3 loops on hook = 1 dec sc.

BODY:
With white ch 20 and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
1st round: 20 sc in ring – READ TIPS!
2nd-8th round: 1 sc in each sc.
round 9: * 1 sc in first two sc, then crochet the next 2 sc tog * – see explanation above, repeat *-* = 15 sc.
10th round: * 1 sc in first sc, then crochet the next 2 sc tog *, repeat *-* = 10 sc.
11th round: Crochet 2 sc tog all the way round = 5 sc.

HEAD:
12th round: 2 sc in each sc = 10 sc.
13 round: inc 8 sc evenly distributed = 18 sc.
14-17th round: 1 sc in each sc.
Fill the head.
18th round: * 1 sc in first sc, then crochet the next 2 sc tog *, repeat *-* = 12 sc.
19th round: Crochet 2 sc tog all the way round = 6 sc.
Now crochet a ch-string á approx 12 cm / 4¾'', cut the thread, sew the thread through the 6 sc on top of head and fasten the thread so that the ch-band makes a loop.

LACE EDGE.
Work around the bottom of the body: 1 sc in first st, * ch 5, skip 1 st, 1 sc in next st *, repeat *-* and finish with 5 ch and 1 sl st in first sc on round.

WINGS:
Ch 6 and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
1st round: 1 sc in ring, ch 5, 1 sc in ring, 9 ch, 1 sc in ring, 9 ch, 1 sc in ring, ch 5, 1 sl st in first sc on round.
2nd round: In first and last ch spaces (= 5 ch) work: 1 sc, ch 1, 5 dc, 1 ch and 1 sc.
In the 2 other ch spaces (= 9 ch) work: 1 sc, ch 1, 12 dc, 1 ch and 1 sc.
Finish with 1 sl st in first sc on round.
3rd round: 1 sl st in first sc, 1 sc in first dc, * ch 3, 1 sc in next dc *, repeat *-* a total of 4 times, 1 sc in the next 2 sc, 1 sc in next dc, repeat *-* 11 times, 1 sc in 2 next sc, 1 sc in next dc, repeat *-* 11 times, 1 sc in the next 2 sc, 1 sc in next dc, repeat *-* a total of 4 times, 1 sc in last sc and 1 sl st in first sc from beg of row. Cut the thread.

ASSEMBLY:
Sew the wing to back of body – put the larger part of the wing on top and the smaller on the bottom.

LOOSE ANGEL WINGS:
Ch 6 and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
1st round: 1 sc in ring, ch 5, 1 sc in ring, 9 ch, 1 sc in ring, 9 ch, 1 sc in ring, ch 5, 1 sl st in first sc on round.
2nd round: In first and last ch spaces (= 5 ch) work: 1 sc, ch 1, 5 dc, 1 ch and 1 sc.
In the 2 other ch spaces (= 9 ch) work: 1 sc, ch 1, 12 dc, 1 ch and 1 sc.
Finish with 1 sl st in first sc from beg of round.
