SCARF:
Garter st, back and forth on needle: K all rows.
Increasing tip:
Inc inside 2 garter sts from RS as follows:
Inc 1 st by making 1 YO. On return row work YO into back of loop to avoid a hole. (Work inc sts in stocking st).
Decreasing tip:
Dec inside 2 garter sts from RS as follows:
After 2 garter sts: slip 1 st as if to K, K1, psso
Before 2 garter sts: K2 tog.

Scarf: Cast on 3 sts on needle size 20 mm with 1 thread of each colour Eskimo and 1 thread Vienna = 4 threads. First row = WS. Continue in stocking st with 2 garter sts each side – see above. At the same time on 2nd row inc 1 st – see Increasing tip - each side on every other row a total of 7 times = 17 sts. Remember the knitting tension! Continue in stocking st with 2 garter sts each side until piece measures approx 145 cm. Now dec 1 st – see Decreasing tip – each side on every other row a total of 7 times = 3 sts. Cast off.
Pompoms: Make 2 pompoms with a diameter of approx 10 cm and attach to scarf either end. The pompoms shouldn’t be too compact.

HAT

Continue until piece measures 24-26 cm. Cut the thread and pull through remaining sts. Sew hat tog mid back, in outer loops of garter sts from RS.

Fabs 03.04.2014 - 11:34:

Bon tricot!
