Pattern: See diagram. The diagram shows the pattern from the RS and the entire pattern is worked in stocking st. Pattern repeat on sleeve = 66 rows.

Rib: *K1, P1*, repeat from *-*.
Pattern: See chart. Patter is worked in stocking st.

Body:
The jumper is worked in the round on circular needle up to the armholes, it can also be cut for armholes afterwards.
Cast on 240-250 sts on circular needle size 2.5 mm with black and work 6 cm rib. Change to circular needle size 3.5 mm and work stocking st, at the same time inc 24-38 sts evenly on first round = 264-288 sts.
Remember the knitting tension!
When piece measures 34-35 cm divide sts in half and work each side separately (or if you wish to cut up for armholes then inc 5 sts each side - these sts should not be included in pattern).

Front piece: = 132 (144) sts.
When piece measures 59-61 cm cast off the middle 34-34 sts for neck and complete each shoulder separately.
Cast off to shape the neckline on every other row: 4 sts 1 time, 1 st 1 time. When piece measures 61-63 cm continue in pattern. Cast off remaining sts when piece measures 64-66 cm.

Back piece: = 132 (144) sts.
When piece measures 61-63 cm continue in pattern.
When piece measures 63-65 cm cast off the middle 46-45 sts on back piece for neck and dec 1 st on neckline on next row.
Cast off remaining sts when piece measures 64-66 cm.

Sleeve:
Cast on 52-54 sts on double pointed needles size 2.5 mm with black and work 6 cm rib.
Change to needle size 3.5 mm and continue in stocking st, at the same time inc 10-10 sts on first round = 62-64 sts. At the same time after the rib inc 2 sts mid under arm a total of 35-36 times on every *3rd, 3rd and 4th round* alternately = 132-136 sts.
When piece measures 32-31 cm continue in pattern. After the last pattern row cast off, (or if you will cut open for armholes then work 2 cm in reverse stocking st with black, for sewing sleeve to body piece. Cast off.)

Assembly:
If cut open - read below.
Sew the shoulder seams. Pick up 90 sts round neck on double pointed needles size 2.5 mm with black and work 6 rounds stocking st, P 1 round (= folding edge), 6 rounds stocking st, cast off.
Fold edge double towards WS and fasten. Set in sleeves.

Cut open for armholes:
Insert a marking thread (MT) in the middle of the inc sts for armhole. Sew 2 seams on a sewing machine around the marking thread, 1st seam = ½ st from the MT, 2nd seam = ½ st from the 1st seam. Cut for armholes.
Set in sleeves. as follows: sew the last row in stocking st on sleeves to row after machine seam on armhole. Turn jumper inside out and fasten piece in reverse stocking st on sleeve to body piece.
