Rib: *K3, P5*, repeat from *-*
Pattern: See diagram M.1 and M.2. The diagram is seen from the right side

Knitting tension: 11 sts in pattern = width 10 cm

Back and front piece: Cast on 90-102-114-126-138 sts using both ends of the circular needle (to ensure the edge becomes elastic). Remove 1 needle and knit 1 round, purl 1 round. Insert a marking thread each side = 45-51-57-63-69 sts between marking threads. Knit 1 repeat of M.1 and continue in M.2. When piece measures 49-50-51-52-53 cm cast off 8-8-8-10-10 sts each side for armhole (= 4-4-4-5-5 sts each side of both marking threads) = 37-43-49-53-59 sts left on front and back piece. Put the piece aside and knit the sleeves.

Sleeve: Cast on 24-30-30-30-36 sts using 2 double pointed needles size 7 mm. Remove 1 needle and distribute sts on double pointed needles. Knit 1 round, purl 1 round, knit 1 repeat of M.1 and continue in M.2. When sleeve measures 16 cm inc 2 sts mid under arm on every 6.5-12.-8.-6.-12. cm a total of 5-3-4-5-3 times = 34-36-38-40-42 sts – knit new sts in stocking st. When piece measures 45-44-43-42-42 cm cast off 8-8-8-10-10 sts mid under arm = 26-28-30-30-32 sts. Put piece aside and knit the other sleeve.

Yoke: Put sleeves in on the same needle as body where you cast off for armhole = 126-142-158-166-182 sts. Knit 1 round, at the same time dec number of sts to 112-126-126-140-140. Continue in Rib – see explanation above. When the rib measures 4 cm, dec every other purl-report from P5 to P4 = 104-117-117-130-130 sts. When the rib measures 7-7-8-8-8 cm dec the remaining P-report to P4 = 96-108-108-120-120 sts. When the rib measures 10-10-11-12-13 cm, dec every other purl-report from P4 to P3 = 88-99-99-110-110 sts. When the rib measures 13-14-15-16-17 cm dec the remaining P-report to P3 = 80-90-90-100-100 sts. Insert a marking thread in piece and measure from this point from now on. When the piece measures 2-3-3-4-4 cm inc all K2 to K3 and at the same time dec all P3 to P2 = 80-90-90-100-100 sts. When the piece measures 6-7-7-9-9 cm inc all K3 to K4 = 96-108-108-120-120 sts. Repeat the inc in K-reports when piece measures 10-11-11-14-14 cm, 14-16-16-19-19 cm and 18-20-20-21-21 cm = 144-162-162-180-180 sts (K7 and 2P all the way round but when folding neck to the outside of the jumper, there will be K2/P7). When piece measures 22-24-24-26-26 cm cast off loosely in rib. NB! To ensure the edge doesn’t become too tight, make a yo approx every 8 st – knit and cast off yo as a st.

Assembly: Sew openings under the arms.
