Gauge: 14 sts x 19 rows with 1 strand Muskat + 1 strand Vivaldi on larger needles in stockinette st = 10 x 10 cm.

Garter st, when knitting flat: Knit all sts, all rows.

Rib: * K 3, P 3 *, repeat from * - *.

Buttonbands: Knit the buttonbands in garter st throughout, so that the front edge will be a little tight.

Back: Cast on 59-65-71-77-89 sts on smaller needles with 1 strand Muskat + 1 strand Vivaldi. Knit 4 rows rib keeping 1 edge st at each side in garter st.
Sizes S and L: start with P 3.
Sizes M, XL and XXL: start with K 3.
Change to larger needles and stockinette st.
Sizes S, M and L: When the piece measures 6 and 12 cm dec 1 st at each side.
Sizes XL and XXL: When the piece measures 10 cm dec 1 st at each side.
= 55-61-67-75-87 sts. When the piece measures 15-16-17-18-19 cm inc 1 st at each side every 4-4-4-4-9 cm a total of 4-4-4-4-2 times = 63-69-75-83-91 sts. When the piece measures 32-33-34-35-36 cm bind off for armhole at each side every other row: 3 sts 1-1-1-1-2 times, 2 sts 0-1-2-4-4 times and 1 st 3-3-4-3-3 times = 51-53-53-55-57 sts.
When the piece measures 50-52-54-56-58 cm bind off the center 23 sts for the neck. On the next row dec 1 st at each neck edge = 13-14-14-15-16 sts remain on each shoulder. Bind off when the piece measures 52-54-56-58-60 cm.

Left front: Cast on 32-35-38-41-47 sts on smaller needles with 1 strand Muskat + 1 strand Vivaldi. Establish pattern on first row as follows from side edge (row 1 = right side): K 1 (edge st knit in garter st), rib over the next 27-30-33-36-42 sts:
Sizes S and L: start with K 3
Sizes M, XL and XXL: start with P 3,
end with 4 sts garter st (these 4 sts are the buttonband and are knit in garter st throughout). Knit 3 rows with rib, change to larger needles and stockinette st.
Sizes S, M and L: When the piece measures 6 and 12 cm dec 1 st at the side.
Sizes XL and XXL: When the piece measures 10 cm dec 1 st at the side.
= 30-33-36-40-46 sts. When the piece measures 15-16-17-18-19 cm inc 1 st at the side every 4-4-4-4-9 cm a total of 4-4-4-4-2 times = 34-37-40-44-48 sts. When the piece measures 32-33-34-35-36 cm bind off for armhole at the side as on back = 28-29-29-30-31 sts. When the piece measures 40-42-44-46-48 cm put 10 sts at the center front on a st holder for the neck. Then dec 1 st at neck edge every other row 5 times = 13-14-14-15-16 sts remain on shoulder. Bind off when the piece measures 52-54-56-58-60 cm.

Right front: Cast on and knit the same as the left, reversing pattern and shaping - start rib for all sizes with the 4 buttonband sts in garter st, then K 3, end with 1 edge st in garter st.
Make buttonholes along buttonband. 1 buttonhole = bind off the 3rd st from edge and cast on 1 new st over the bound off st on the next row.
Make buttonholes when the piece measures:
Size S: 4, 10, 17, 24, 31 and 38 cm.
Size M: 5, 12, 19, 26, 33 and 40 cm.
Size L: 6, 14, 21, 28, 35 and 42 cm.
Size XL: 7, 14, 22, 29, 37 and 44 cm.
Size XXL: 8, 16, 23, 31, 38 and 46 cm.

Sleeve: Cast on 38-38-38-44-44 sts on smaller needles with 1 strand Muskat + 1 strand Vivaldi. Knit 4 rows rib keeping 1 st at each edge in garter st. Change to larger needles and stockinette st. When the piece measures 6 cm change to smaller needles and rib again. When the piece measures 17 cm change back to larger needles and knit stockinette st to finished measurements. After the rib inc 1 st at each side every 4-3.5-3-3-2.5 cm a total of 8-9-10-9-10 times = 54-56-58-62-64 sts. When sleeve measures 48-47-46-44-42 cm bind off for sleeve cap at each side every other row: 4 sts 1 time, 2 sts 2 times and 1 st 2-3-4-6-9 times, then bind off 2 sts at each side until the piece measures 55-55-56-56-56 cm, then bind off 3 sts at each side 1 time. The piece measures approx. 56-56-57-57-57 cm, bind off the remaining sts.

Assembly: Sew shoulder seams.
Neckband: Pick up 71 or 77 sts (divisible by 6 + 5) around the neck (incl. sts on st holders) on smaller needles with 1 strand Muskat + 1 strand Vivaldi. Knit rib keeping 4 buttonband sts in garter st and begin and end rib with K 3 at each side of the buttonbands (seen from the right side).
After 2 rows make 1 buttonhole over the others on right front. After 6 rows bind off all sts in rib. Sew in sleeves. Sew sleeve and side seams using edge sts as a seam allowance. Sew on buttons.

Carmella 26.01.2017 - 08:53:

DROPS Design 17.01.2017 kl. 13:47:

Hoi Carmella. Je kan Vivaldi prima vervangen door DROPS Brushed AlpacaSilk. Dezelfde categorie en ook dezelfde uiterlijk.

Lyne Pouliot 30.06.2016 - 02:40:
