100% Cotton, 50 g.
450-500-550 g. Col. No. 13, Orange.

Alternate Yarn:
DROPS Tynn Cotton Chenille,
90% Cotton, 10% Polyester, 50 g.
400-450-500 g. Col. No. 907, Orange.
All numbers/measurements for Tynn Chenille are given in (). If there is only one set of figures it applies to both versions.

DROPS 3.5 mm and 4 mm circular needles, or sizes needed to obtain correct gauge.

Pattern instructions

NOTE: This pattern is written in British English. All measurements in charts are in cm. For conversion from cm to inches - click here. Gauge: Cotton Chenille: 14 sts and 26 rows on US
6 in stockinette stitch =10 x 10 cm.
(Tynn Chenille: 20 sts and 32 rows on US 1 in
stockinette stitch = 10 x 10 cm .

Pattern: Rib: * knit 3, purl 3 *. Repeat from * - *.

Front: Cast on 74-80-86 (110-116-122) sts (includes 1 edge st on each side for seam - do not knit these into the rib) on smaller needles and knit in rib for 16 cm. Change to larger needles and knit in stockinette stitch.
When the work measures 30-31-31 cm, bind off on each side for armholes every other row: 3 sts 1-1-2 (2-2-3) times, 2 sts 1-2-2 (2-3-3) times, 1 st 3-3-3 (4-4-3) times. 58-60-60 (82-84-86) sts.
At the same time, when the work measures 35-36-37 cm, divide the work at the middle and bind off for V-neck every other row: 3 sts 0 (1) time, 2 sts 3 (4) times, 1 st 3 (3) times, and then every 4th row: 1 st 3-4-4 (3-4-4) times. Bind off when the work measures 55-56-57 cm.

Back: Cast on and knit as for the front, but when the work measures 53-54-55 cm, bind off the center 20-22-22 (30-32-32) sts for the back neck. Then bind off 2 sts on each side of the neck edge on the next row. Bind off when the work measures 55-56-57 cm.

Sleeves: Cast on 38-38-38 (50-50-50) sts (includes 1 edge st on each side for seam) on smaller needles and knit in rib for 10 cm. Change to larger circular needles and inc 0 (6) sts evenly distributed on the first row. Then knit in stockinette stitch and at the same time inc 1 st on each side 17-17-19 (23-23-25) times.
Size S+M: Every 5th (alternately every 4th and 5th) row.
Size L: Alternately every 4th and 5th (every 4th) row.
72-72-76 (102-102-106) sts.
When the work measures 48-46.5-46 (47-46-46) cm, bind off for sleeve caps on each side every other row: 3 sts 1 (1) time, 2 sts 7-9-11 (11-13-15) times, 4-3-3 (5-4-3) sts 2 times. Bind off all sts. The work measures approximately 56-56-57 cm.

Assembly: Sew shoulder seams. Sew the sleeves to the body and sew sleeve and side seam in one. Pick up approximately 93-99 (135-141) sts (divisible by 6 sts + 3) around the neck on smaller circular needles and knit in rib back and forth on needles from the center front for 3 cm . Bind off loosely. Lay the right part over the left part of the ribbing and sew the ends together.
