Hej!

------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- HEEL: Work back and forth in stocking stitch. ROW 1 (= right side): Work until there is 1 stitch left, turn. ROW 2 (= wrong side): Slip the first stitch as if to purl, tighten the strand and work until there is 1 stitch left, turn. ROW 3 (= right side): Slip 1 stitch as if to knit, tighten the strand and work until there are 2 stitches left, turn. ROW 4 (= wrong side): Slip the first stitch as if to purl, tighten the strand and work until there are 2 stitches left, turn. Continue back and forth like this until there are 8-8-10-10 (10-12) stitches in the middle of the needle. Insert 1 marker in the middle of the row – the foot is measured from this marker. Continue back and forth, now working 1 more stitch on each row. To avoid holes in the transitions, lift the strand before the next stitch and place it twisted on the needle, then work it together with the stitch. Continue working until you have worked all stitches on the heel. DECREASE TIP: Start 2 stitches before the marker, knit 2 together, slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch (= 2 stitches decreased). Repeat at the second marker. ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- SOCK – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: The piece is worked in the round with double pointed needles, top down. LEG: Cast on 44-48-52-52 (56-60) stitches with double pointed needles size 2.5 mm and DROPS Fabel. Work rib (knit 1, purl 1) for 7-8-9-10 (11-12) cm. Knit 1 round where you decrease 4 stitches evenly spaced = 40-44-48-48 (52-56) stitches. Work stocking stitch over all stitches for 2 cm. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! HEEL AND FOOT: Keep the first 18-18-22-22 (22-26) stitches on the needle for the heel, place the last 22-26-26-26 (30-30) stitches on a thread (top of foot). Work HEEL – read description above! After the heel place the stitches from the thread back on the needle = 40-44-48-48 (52-56) stitches. Work stocking stitch over all stitches. Continue working until the piece measures 7-8-9-10 (11-13) cm from the marker on the heel and measured under the foot. There is 3-3-3-3 (4-4) cm left. TOE: Insert 1 marker on each side with 20-22-24-24 (26-28) stitches both on top of and underneath the foot. Work stocking stitch and, on the first round, decrease for the toe on each side of both markers – read DECREASE TIP. Decrease like this every 2nd round a total of 3 times, then every round 5-5-6-6 (7-8) times = 8-12-12-12 (12-12) stitches. Cut the strand, pull it through the remaining stitches, tighten and fasten well. The sock measures approx. 10-11-12-13 (15-17) cm from the marker on the heel, measured under the foot. Work the other sock in the same way. |
