Buonasera!

Bon tricot!

I am having difficulty reading the pattern. Can someone please clarify after the 4 rows garter stitch. Is it 3 edge stitch, then k2 then stocking stitch, then 2 rows pattern. Please help
06.08.2015 - 01:26DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Coplevitch, on left front piece after the 4 rows in garter st you work in pattern like this starting from RS: 3 edge sts in garter st (= K every row), then K 2 (= 2 sts in stocking st), then repeat A.1 a total of 9-10-11 times (see your size) starting at the bottom corner on the right side, read from the right towards the left from RS (= from the left towards the right from RS), and 4 sts in garter st (= K every row). Happy knitting!

Bisogna proprio usare i ferri circolari?
13.02.2014 - 18:25DROPS Design answered:
Buongiorno Antonella. Buon lavoro!

Work until 16 sts remain on row, turn and work back. Work until 21 sts remain on row, turn and work back. Continue with short rows, on every row from RS work alternately over 5 and 6 sts less than previous short row. Continue with short rows until short rows have been worked over all sts (last short row is worked over 11 sts), work 4 rows in garter st over all sts, cast off. RIGHT PART: Work as left part but reversed, 1st row with pattern is worked as follows - from RS: 4 edge sts in garter st, K 2 (worked in stocking st until finished measurements), A.1 a total of 9-9-10-10-11-11 times, finish with 3 edge sts in garter st. When piece measures 13-14-15-16-17-18 cm, cast off the first edge st on row (seen from RS). When piece measures 83-84-85-86-87-88 cm, cast on a new edge st at the beg of row (seen from RS). When working short rows, start from WS. ASSEMBLY: See measurement chart. Sew A against A and B against B. Sew D against D. Sew C against C but stop when 25 cm remain (= vent). |
