Das ist nicht mein Problem. Was unterscheidet Quadrate und Dominoquadrate?
04.10.2016 - 13:58DROPS Design answered:

04.10.2016 - 13:18DROPS Design answered:
Liebe Frau Salz, Sie müssen 28 Dominoquadraten in je 5 Farben und 29 Dominoquadraten in je 2 der Farben so haben Sie: 28 Quadraten x 5 Farben + 29 Quadraten x 2 Farben = 140 + 58 = 198 Quadraten, die Sie dann zusammennähen.

Maybe I'm reading this entirely wrong, but doesn't the pattern tell me to knit a triangle? It says increase, then bind off. Now I have a triangle... Wouldn't I need to continue knitting decreases? But how does that look work, with the colours going along two edges? The triangle I have doesn't do this. Hm...

Dear Tsetse, you cast on 3 sts and inc 2 sts in the middle of piece every other round so that you will get by and by a square - see tutorial with pictures here. Happy knitting!

Then sew them tog into a blanket. One square measures approx. 7.5 x 7.5 cm. SQUARE: Cast on 3 sts on needle size 4 mm with Fabel. Insert 1 marker in the middle st. Work in DOMINO SQUARE - see explanation above - back and forth. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION Work domino square until square measures 7.5 x 7.5 cm. Cast off - NOTE: In the corner on each side of mid st cast off with YOs (i.e. cast off one st, YO and cast off YO) to avoid a tight edge, cast off the rest of the sts as usual. Cut the yarn, leave approx. 30 cm - this is used for assembly. ASSEMBLY: Place the squares in the same direction with 11 squares in width and 18 squares in height. Sew first tog strips of 11 squares - use strand from square and sew tog 2 and 2 squares with neat little stitches. Then sew strips tog with a new strand. |
