How to crochet the spiral pattern with stripes in DROPS 156-6

In this DROPS video we show how to crochet a spiral pattern with stripes of double crochet (dc) and treble crochet (tr) as for the Miss Moneypenny skirt in DROPS 156-6. We've already worked 5 rows of 33 dc and assembled piece with 1 sl st so that when we start working we work round.

* Work 1 dc in back loop of each of the next 7 sts, 1 tr in front loop of st from 2 rows below next st *, repeat from *-* the entire round. Pattern is over 8 sts and no of sts are divisible by 8 + 1. Work in the round without finishing the round, this way the pattern will automatically displace 1 st on every round and form a spiral pattern.

This skirt is made in DROPS Merino Extra Fine, but in the video we crochet with a thicker yarn, DROPS Snow.
