How to crochet the squares together in DROPS 117-35

In this DROPS video we show how to crochet the squares together on the Sea of Stars shawl in DROPS 117-35. We have already crocheted one row with 4 squares and start the video by crocheting a new square. This square will be crocheted together with the other 4 squares (= a row of 5 squares).
About halfway through the video we show how we crochet 2 squares under the row of 5 squares together (we have already crocheted ROUND 1 on this squares).

This shawl is made in DROPS Classic Alpaca and DROPS Merino Extra Fine, but in the video we crochet with a thicker yarn, DROPS Snow.

In this DROPS video we show how you can crochet squares together with chain stitches and double crochet. Lay 2 squares together, wrong side to wrong side, and work through both layers like this: 1 double crochet around the chain stitches in the corner, * 4 chain stitches, skip 3 treble crochets (= treble crochet groups) and crochet 1 double crochet between 2 treble crochets groups, *, work from *-* up to and including the next corner, work 1 chain stitch (transition to the next 2 squares), work 1 double crochet around the corner on the next square. Work from *-* until the row has been worked together. Cut the strand, then work the squares together in width in the same way. We use the yarn DROPS Paris in the video. In this DROPS video we show how to crochet a flounce edge to a garment. Work from the wrong side, fasten the strand with a double crochet around a decrease in the lace pattern, insert the hook through the garment (from the wrong side to the right side - the strand stays on the wrong side), then insert the hook between the 2 outermost treble crochets on the flounce and then back through to the wrong side of the garment, make 1 yarn over and pull the strand through the loops on the hook so the flounce is attached to the yoke *, work 8 chain stitches (on the wrong side of the garment), skip to the next decrease on the garment, insert the hook through the garment (from the wrong side to the right side - the strand stays on the wrong side), then insert the hook between the 6th and 7th treble crochet after the last time the flounce was attached to the garment, and then back to the wrong side of the garment, make 1 yarn over and pull the strand through the loops on the hook so the flounce is attached to the yoke *, repeat from *-*. It is important the seam is not tight as this will make the garment less elastic. We use the yarn DROPS Snow in the video.
