There are many ways to join a new ball of yarn when you run out of yarn. In this DROPS video we show how to make a more or less invisible join by making a double knot. We use two different colors to make it easier to follow.

With the new yarn go under the working yarn, go over both strands and through the loop and tighten. Then repeat by taking the working yarn under the new yarn, over both strands, through loop and tighten. Then pull each yarn to tighten the double knot in the center, pull tight to secure. Cut both tails as close as possible. Keep working on your project.

Hei Annika. Da tilpasser du bare lengde på garnet slik at knuten blir på begynnelsen av raden. F.eks strikk raden ut, sett et merke / lag en løs knute på tråden, rekk opp noen masker slik at du har nok tråd til å lage en knute med den andre fargen /garnet og strikk raden ut igjen. mvh DROPS Design

Jetzt bin ich gezwungen, mehr als zwei Reihen im Norwegermuster zurück zu stricken. Das ist sehr ärgerlich. Diese Methode ist wirklich nicht empfehlenswert!

There will be no loose ends to seem away when you are done. Moist the palms of your hands, rub the loose ends between your hands with pressure, and they will felt together. In this DROPS video we show how you can weave in ends on your work. When knitting with multiple colors or when just changing from one to another color, you can weave in the end as you continue with the new color. When you start the new color you want to make sure to twist the loose end around your previous color to avoid a hole, then place the working yarn behind the tail, and pick up the yarn alternating above and under the tail end to weave it in. Weave for about 4-6 sts and then you can cut the remaining tail. This way you don't have to fasten the threads at the end. You must read the pattern to be able to follow.
