How to crochet a vertical rib

In this DROPS video we show how to crochet an elastic rib pattern.

Ch a number of sts for desired width, should be a multiple of 2.
Row 1: Work a tr in 3rd ch from hook, then work 1 tr in every ch across.
Row 2: ch 2, *tr in front post (trfp), tr in back post (trbp), repeat from * across, htr in last st.
Row 3: ch 2, *tr in back post, tr in front post, repeat from * across, htr in last st.
Repeat row 2 and 3 for rib pattern.
