In this DROPS video we show how to cast on in rib.

This stretchy cast on is good for ribbing, and we show a K2/P2 rib in video but also great for K1/P1 rib. Perfect for edges on socks, mittens, hats or whenever you want very stretchy cast on.

Even if you will be knitting in the round it's a good idea to cast onto a straight needle and then transfer the sts to double pointed needles.

Bonjour Sylvie, on fait ici référence aux explications du modèle, pour rabattre en côtes, vous tricotez les mailles comme elles se présentent et les rabattez en même temps, ce qui peut être, en fonction du modèle des côtes 1/1, 2/2 etc... Bon tricot!

Hallo Carolien, Om het stekenaantaal aan te passen naar een even aantal steken, kun je op het eind op de gebruikelijke wijze nog een steek er bij op zetten.

Hoi Carolien. Er is geen verschil in hoe wij opzetten voor een r of av, maar deze opzetsteek is geschikt voor boordsteek.

In this DROPS video we show to start working a rolling-edge, like the one in DROPS 230-49 and DROPS 230-50. We have already worked 3 ridges (1 ridge = knit 2 rows) and start the video like this: 1 edge stitch in garter stitch, knit 3, * twist the stitches on the right needle 360 degrees as follows: Take the strand to the right side and take the right needle under the piece and up to the right side, knit 6 *, work from *-* until there are 4 stitches left, knit 3 and 1 edge stitch in garter stitch.
