In this DROPS video we show how to decrease by slip 1, knit 1, pass slipped stitch over (sl 1, K1, psso).

These abbreviations in the title means that you decrease 1 stitch by first slipping a stitch, then knitting a stitch, then passing the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch.
This will create a decrease leaning to the left. This method gives the exact same dec result as "ssk (slip, slip, knit)".

Our video is showing you how to "sl1, K1, psso" first in continental style, and then in US style knitting.

Bonjour Mme Wolff, cette vidéo montre comment diminuer pour le raglan - avant de commencer le raglan, on rabat les mailles des emmanchures (même méthode en rond que sur aig. droites). Bon tricot!

Bonjour Violette B. Cette diminution (surjet simple) incline les mailles vers la gauche alors que 2 m ens à l'end les incline vers la droite. Vous pouvez utiliser l'une ou l'autre méthode en fonction du résultat que vous voulez obtenir (diminutions plus ou moins visibles). Bon tricot!

In this DROPS video we show you how to join 2 pieces together (A and B), then cast off with an I-cord. Place all the stitches from A and B on the same needle, so that every second stitch on the needle belongs to A and B. We cast off with I-cord as follows: - Cast on 3 stitches onto the right needle. Slip the 3 stitches from the right needle onto the left needle with the working strand now situated 3 stitches in on the left needle. - ROW 1 (= right side): Knit 2, knit 3 twisted together (i.e., 1 stitch from the front piece and 1 stitch from the back piece is decreased). Slip 3 stitches from the right needle back onto the left needle. Do not turn (working like this tightens the working strand so the piece forms a small tube). - Repeat ROW 1 until there are 3 stitches left. Cast off and fasten all strands.
