How to work several cables after a chart

In this DROPS video we show how to work several cables after chart M.1 to the dog coat in DROPS 102-43.
We work 3 garter stitches in each side and we have already worked 17 rows of the chart so you can see the cables better. We start the by working the 18th row.

On this row the cables are worked like this:
Put 3 stitches on cable needle behind the work, knit 3, knit 3 from cable needle.
On row 20 and 22 work 1st and 3rd cables like this: Put 1 stitch on a cable needle behind the work, knit 3, purl 1 from the cable needle.
And 2nd and 4th cables are worked like this:
Put 3 stitches on a cable needle in front of work, purl 1, knit 3 from cable needle

This dog coat is worked in DROPS Karisma, but in the video we work with a thicker yarn; DROPS Snow.

Dear Ginny, when working them from WS you most of the times K over K and P over P - check the diagram you are working on or see in this pattern checking diagram and video. Feel also free to ask your question on the pattern you are working on if you still feel unsure. Happy knitting!

Hallo, ich bin von den Erklårungen zum Diagramm verwirrt. Bei einem leeren Kästchen steht: rechts auf rechts und links auf links. Bei einem Kreuz steht: links auf rechts und rechts auf links. Gilt das für Runden oder Reihen? Im Vodeo-Tutorial zum Zopf werden bei den Kreuzen linke Maschen auf linke gestrickt. Das ist allerdings in Reihen und ich stricke gerade noch in Runden.

Liebe Frau Demolli, das leere Kästchen stricken Sie glatt rechts und das mit dem Kreuz glatt links, dh je nach der Anleitung/dem Modell wird das Diagramm entweder in der Runde oder in Reihen gestrickt, aber diese Maschen sollen entweder glatt rechts (= hinreihe re, rückreihe li) oder glatt links (hinreihe li, rückreihe re) gestrickt werden. Gerne können Sie auch Ihre Frage im Fragenbereich von dem Modell stellen. Viel Spaß beim stricken!

We have already worked 7 loops and in the video we work 4 rows that will be a loop, we cast on and cast off. Then we show how to work an open loop and finish the knitting.
