Overview how to work the dog coat in DROPS 102-43 – step by step

In this DROPS video we show with pictures step by step the process how the dog coat “The Lockout” is worked. Tämä tarkoittaa, että silmukka neulotaan nurin oikealta puolelta ja oikein nurjalta puolelta.

Liebe Magdalena, es gibt 3 Größen so jeweils für jede Größe, 3 Maschen 1 Mal in jeder Größe (beidseitig), dann 2 maschen 2 Mal in 1. Größe, 3 Mal in 2. Größe und 4 Mal in 3. Größe, usw. Viel Spaß beim stricken!

Bonjour Mme Robillard, lorsque vous tricotez en rond, lisez tous les rangs de droite à gauche, lorsque vous allez diviser l'ouvrage pour tricoter les 2 parties séparément en rangs, veillez à ce que les rangs avec torsades soient sur l'endroit - et lisez alors les rangs sur l'endroit de droite à gauche et ceux sur l'envers de gauche à droite. Bon tricot!

Bonjour Carine, divisez l'ouvrage ainsi: mettez en attente les 16 premières mailles (partie côté ventre); rabattez 1 m (ouverture de la 1ère patte), tricotez toutes les mailles restantes (jusqu'à celles mises en attente), tournez, rabattez 1 maille et continuez à tricoter le dos, sur l'envers. Tricotez les mailles du dos en rangs pendant 8 cm et mettez les en attente; reprenez les mailles du ventre et tricotez les pendant 8 cm, puis reprenez toutes les mailles en montant 1 m de chaque côté des 16 m du ventre. Cette leçon montre les différentes étapes de ce modèle et pourra sans doute vous aider. Bon tricot!

Dag Gina,

Deze video geeft uitleg over hoe je patroon 102-43 breit. Voor een kleine hond zou je misschien op sokkenbreinaalden kunnen breien. Of heen en weer breien en een sluiting erin maken met bijvoorbeeld een knoopbies.

We work 3 garter stitches in each side and we have already worked 17 rows of the chart so you can see the cables better. We start the by working the 18th row. In this DROPS video we show you how to put stitch to a stitch holder, how to split the work for the forelegs, how to decrease and how to cast on (we do not knit after the charts and we have a different stitch numbers then it says in the pattern). In this DROPS video we show how to assembly the cat house “Kitty Hangout” in DROPS Extra 0-1505. We have already worket a mini cat house and put 4 markers in the piece. The stitches on top of the foot are placed on a thread, while the stitches at the back are kept on the needles and the heel is worked as follows (the heel extends under the foot): 1) The heel is worked back and forth across the heel-stitches to achieve the correct height. For this type of heel, the length reaches midway under the heel. 2) Next, the heel is knitted together beneath the foot. 3) The sock is then continued in the round, with stitches picked up along both sides of the heel length, working towards the toe. 4) This heel creates a square shape, which is why this type of heel is known as a square heel.

How to knit a sock with a gusset heel – short overview

In this DROPS video, we show you how to knit a sock with a gusset heel - arguably the most common method for working a heel. To begin, the stitches on top of the foot are placed on a thread, while the stitches at the back are kept on the needles and the heel is worked as follows: 1) The heel is first worked in height, back and forth across the heel-stitches. 2) Next, the bottom of the heel is worked to the required width and length by working short rows and decreasing stitches. 3) Once this step is completed, continue knitting in the round across all stitches, knitting up stitches on both sides of the heel (along the length). 4) The width and shape of the foot is worked by decreasing stitches on both sides, forming a small gusset heel – that is why this type of heel is known as a gusset heel.
