In this DROPS video we show you how to put stitch to a stitch holder, how to split the work for the forelegs, how to decrease and how to cast on (we do not knit after the charts and we have a different stitch numbers then it says in the pattern). We have already knitted the rib(neck) and started on stocking stitch.

Bonjour Christine, vous devez tricoter ainsi: *M.2 (= 4 m), 2 m env* (= 6 m), tricotez 2 fois de *-* au total (= les 12 premières mailles du tour), tricotez ensuite les 4 m de M.2 puis tricotez: *M.3 (= 14 m), M.2 (=4 m)*, tricotez 2 fois au total de *-* (= 18 m x 2 = 36 m), tricotez M.1 (= 24 m) et tricotez ensuite *M.2 (= 4 m), M.3 (= 14 m)*, tricotez 2 fois de *-* (= 18 m) au total (= 36 sts) = 12+4+36+24+36= 112 m. Bonjour Laurence, tricotez ainsi sur un rang pair des diagrammes: tricotez les 22 premières mailles et mettez-les en attente, rabattez 1 m env, tricotez comme avant (M3,M2)x3 fois (1 m env en moins dans le 1er M3), M1 (M2,M3)x3 fois, tournez, rabattez la 1ère m et tricotez les diagrammes sur l'envers (M3, M2)x3 (1 m en moins dans le 1er M3), M1, (M2,M3)x3. - voir aussi ici. Hei Josefine. Om du søker på ordet Hund i søkemotoren vår, kommer det opp andre hundegensere, f.eks DROPS 185-34, DROPS Extra 0-1010 og DROPS Extra 0-833. Om du følger oppskriften, men strikker bare i ensfarget vil ikke det være så vanskelig for en nybegynner. I nær fremtid vil det også komme en Step-by-Step Leksjon til hundegenseren i DROPS 102-43, som vil være til hjelp om du vil strikke genseren med flette. God Fornøyelse!

Hej Gitte, Når du strikker frem og tilbage strikker du hver 2. pind i diagrammet fra vrangen (ret fra retsiden = vrang fra vrangen om omvendt). Sørg for at snoningen strikkes fra retsiden. God fornøjelse!

In this DROPS video we show how to work several cables after chart M.1 to the dog coat in DROPS 102-43. We work 3 garter stitches in each side and we have already worked 17 rows of the chart so you can see the cables better. We start the by working the 18th row. On this row the cables are worked like this: Put 3 stitches on cable needle behind the work, knit 3, knit 3 from cable needle. On row 20 and 22 work 1st and 3rd cables like this: Put 1 stitch on a cable needle behind the work, knit 3, purl 1 from the cable needle. And 2nd and 4th cables are worked like this: Put 3 stitches on a cable needle in front of work, purl 1, knit 3 from cable needle This dog coat is worked in DROPS Karisma, but in the video we work with a thicker yarn; DROPS Snow. In this DROPS video we show how to assembly the cat house “Kitty Hangout” in DROPS Extra 0-1505. We have already worket a mini cat house and put 4 markers in the piece. The stitches on top of the foot are placed on a thread, while the stitches at the back are kept on the needles and the heel is worked as follows (the heel extends under the foot): 1) The heel is worked back and forth across the heel-stitches to achieve the correct height. For this type of heel, the length reaches midway under the heel. 2) Next, the heel is knitted together beneath the foot. 3) The sock is then continued in the round, with stitches picked up along both sides of the heel length, working towards the toe. 4) This heel creates a square shape, which is why this type of heel is known as a square heel.

In this DROPS video, we show you how to knit a sock with a gusset heel - arguably the most common method for working a heel. To begin, the stitches on top of the foot are placed on a thread, while the stitches at the back are kept on the needles and the heel is worked as follows: 1) The heel is first worked in height, back and forth across the heel-stitches. 2) Next, the bottom of the heel is worked to the required width and length by working short rows and decreasing stitches. 3) Once this step is completed, continue knitting in the round across all stitches, knitting up stitches on both sides of the heel (along the length). 4) The width and shape of the foot is worked by decreasing stitches on both sides, forming a small gusset heel – that is why this type of heel is known as a gusset heel.
