In this DROPS video we show a method where we knit false English rib in the round on circular needle. We have already worked a few rounds so that the pattern appears better.

We start the video with round 1:
ROUND 1: * 1 st in garter st, 1 YO, slip 1 st as if to P *, repeat from *-* until 1 st remains, finish with 1 st in garter st.
ROUND 2: * 1 st in garter st, K tog YO and slipped st from previous round *, repeat from *-* until 1 st remains, finish with 1 st in garter st.
Repeat rounds 1 to 2.

GARTER ST (in the round on circular needle):
1 ridge = 2 rounds. * K 1 round and P 1 round *, repeat from *-*.

A comment for everyone who's confused by the instructions. I was in the beginning too! Please take note of the instructions saying to use garterstitch. It means you have to purl every other stitch in the second row (as in a 1x1 rib). The purling in the video looks very different than most people are used to, but it is just purling.

Der er altså fejl i opskriften med falsk patent på rundpinde. Video og den trykte opskrift matcher ikke. Træls når man har spildt 2 timer, og tænkt at det nok kom til at stemme overens. Det er 1 vrang og omslag plus den løse ret. Og ikke ret hele vejen rundt. Lidt øv, da jeg kan se andre har kommenteret det også.

Liebe Damaris, wenn man Kraus rechts in der Runde strickt, strickt man immer 1 Runde rechts, 1 Runde links - siehe auch hier. Viel Spaß beim stricken!
