See diagrams A.1-A.3.

Each stripe consists of 2 rows, work 10 stripes in total (2 stripes of each colour). Example of colour order:
01, apricot
27, peach
20, blush
33, pink
06, cerise

Switch colour between 1st and 2nd row in diagram as follows: Work last treble crochet with first colour but wait with last pull through, switch to next colour and work last pull through with the new colour.

Work cloths back and forth in texture pattern and STRIPES - see explanation above.

Work 57 chain stitches on hook size 3 mm with apricot. Work 1 treble crochet in 4th chain stitch from hook, work 1 treble crochet in next chain stitch, * skip 1 chain stitch, work 1 treble crochet in each of the next 3 chain stitches *, repeat from *-* the entire row = 42 treble crochets on row (the 3 chain stitches at beginning of row = 1 treble crochet). Work next row as follows from right side: Work A.1, then work A.2 over the next 39 stitches (= 13 repetitions of 3 stitches), finish with A.3, and switch at the same time to next colour – read COLOUR CHANGE TIP in explanation above. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! Then work next row in diagram. Continue the pattern and stripes like this until 19 rows have been worked in total. On last row work a loop as follows: Work according to diagram until 11 repetitions of A.2 have been worked and 8 stitches remain. Work 9 chain stitches and fasten with a slip stitch in the last treble crochet on round.
Cut and fasten the yarn. Work another cloth the same way.

= 1 chain stitch - if you work at the end of crochet hook the chain stitch will often be too tight 1 chain stitch should be just as long as 1 double crochet is wide.
= work 1 treble crochet in treble crochet
= work 1 treble crochet around treble crochet from previous row (i.e. work around the treble crochet and not in the stitch)
= this row has already been worked
= start here, this is row 1
